Hawks' consideration for your privacy damn near blew you away when he brought you to a private seating restaurant. Each booth is sectioned off by walls on three sides and a curtain for entering and exiting said booth. (Which you had thanked him for more than twice, how he handled the interview included.)
The menu and food is provided through a small window at the back of the booth. No one can see you, not even the cooks. The only person who can is the hostess who escorted the both of you to the table.
It's perfect, no one can eavesdrop or profit off of the two of you trying to enjoy a meal together. You can relax and let loose. No paparazzi, no press, no villains. Just you and Hawks.
That's why when your meal got to the table you weren't even afraid to show how hungry you were. The treat he gave you did its job for a short while but you definitely needed more fuel. Hawks was kind of blown away yet thoroughly amused by how fast you demolished your meal.
With a full tank all that's left was to chat and have fun. You earned it. Hawks wants to learn more about you, get under the hood and poke around— so to speak.
"Hmm, So... Who's your favorite Hero? Oh and— which hero are you thirsting over? Could be the same, could be a different person. I don't judge. I mean for me, I really admire Endeavor's work. He seems to be the only one really working hard to reach the top, know what I mean?" Hawks adds a wink with a cocky smirk. His tone is very lazy and laid back.
However, that doesn't stop you from shifting in your side of the booth. Putting me on the hot seat already? Fuck Hawks, are you serious right now?
You look away, coughing, trying to decide whether or not to tell the truth or find a way to lie yourself out of this one. You know he's relaxed. If you answer honestly he certainly won't get offended.
The part about outing yourself is exposure. Worst case scenario you won't have a job tomorrow. No pressure, right? None at all.
Hawks watches as you pick up your drink and take a sip. He doesn't mind, if anything he can already tell what your answer is. His ego is fanning out in the form of a peacock tail. Though he's painfully amused by your reactions, he's curious as to whether you'll be honest about it or try to hide the obvious.
You inhale, resolving on your approach to the question. "A part of me looks up to All Might as the symbol of peace. However, there is this one hero. Maybe you've heard of him..." Talk about him as if he's not sitting right in front of you. That should work, right? Just pretend Hawks is another person.
Your hesitation is amusing to say the least. Hawks leans forward, hand supporting his cheek, as his elbow rests on the table. He raises a brow, and a charming smile takes over his lips.
"Maybe I have," he encourages you. "Why don't you tell me a few things about him?"
This is gonna be good.
You straighten your back, clearing your throat. "His hero name is Hawks. He's pretty cool actually, I like working with him. Great guy, polite— handsome, a real hero if you ask me."
