A heavy sigh escapes Keigo's mouth as he flops on the soft mattress of his bed– face first. Stretching out his limbs, he moans out loud, satisfaction and relief taking over his tired and overworked muscles.

Turning his head to the side, his eyes flutter open. His wet hair, fresh out of the shower, slightly dampening his forehead along with the soft blankets under him. Blinking, he forces himself up again, sitting at the edge of his bed.

It's been a long, long day for the young hero. Wings almost non-existent, two red stubs standing proudly when he flexes the muscles on his back. The mission was successful, as always. Though it did come with the cost of losing the majority of his feathers.

It was the first time in months he actually had to walk in the lobby of the building to get to his home. The security guard looked as if he had seen a ghost.

He was lucky he decided to take the keys for his door today, since he was already aware of the mission and the possible risks. Actually, there's always the chance of him losing more feathers than planned, even if he tries his best to avoid it.

His back might be lighter, but the bags under his eyes got heavier. Thankfully it's nothing a bit of concealer can't fix, yet he'll have time to get some proper rest, given the fact that he has the next three days off.

Walking to his closet, Hawks pulls out a comfortable pair of sweats, unwrapping the towel from his lower body, letting it pool on the floor around his feet. Too lazy to pick it up and fold it, he mumbles to himself that "I'll do it tomorrow," before rushing back to the comfort of his bed.

The black sky turns into a deep blue, highlights of oranges and bright pinks paint the clouds. The view it's clear from his window. Noticing this, Keigo groans, dragging his feet on the ground. He closes the curtains for the floor to ceiling windows, pulling them from one side of the room to the other, blocking out every bit of sunlight from creeping in and disturbing his rest.

Sighing, beat to the bone and in desperate need of some R&R, he crawls in bed, pulling the heavy covers over himself. Just as he is about to fall asleep, his mind provides him with images of you.

Then, he starts thinking. How good it'd feel if you were sleeping in his arms right now. If you were already asleep in his bed waiting for him to come back. He'd never want to get up if he were to wake up next to you.

He misses you. So much at this moment. Wishing he could spend more time with you, wanting to give you more attention, do something nice for you and—

Oh fuck...

He forgot to give you the necklace he bought.

How could I forget that? I purposely messed up with the possible dates of the robbery specifically for that reason. Did I really get that busy??

Mentally scolding himself, Hawks clicks his tongue, grabbing the empty pillow next to him and hugging it to his chest.

I should tell her to come over tomorrow so I can give it to her. I wanna see her.. God, why am I such an idiot? How could I let myself forget about this?

Suddenly, his brows jump, a bright smile takes over his face.

I have three days off. I have three days off!
