To my hallucinated angel
That will disappear
In the bitter end
An unseen stranger
That plays pretend
A shadow in the night
Or the silhouette in my bedroom
That stays out of the light
With fire red locks
And youth
That has an everlasting clock
You are my guardian
Fighting the monster
Under my bed
Reviving the hope
That was dead
Hello, hidden fantasy
In a world
That I once lived in
The real threat
Is coming after me
Where have you been
You vanished
In front of my eyes
I've been lonely ever since
Raindrops were my only company
As they also cried with me
I finally woke up
And saw
That it was all a dream
A figment of my imagination
Is all you'll ever be
It's time to grow out of you
And replace you with someone better
It was a good journey, old friend
Goodbye, now
And forever
