Your deception is perfection
That was a hidden disguise
Or was it your false exterior
That lied to our eyes
No one could tell
You did manipulation so well
We were under your spell
In a house full of secrets
Nobody could keep it
If these walls could talk
Would they side with me?
Tell them everything
Or would they betray me?
Keep quiet
And not say anything
Whatever they heard
Was it just the wind
Or the sound of an object you were throwing
The slamming of a door
Was not a coincidence
I keep your name in my mouth
I won't say it out loud
Not meant to guilt trip
We all know who was the favorite
You're not innocent
Along with the rest of us
There was no sign of love
Only hatred
Got the day started
Can I be blind
To what's obvious
Can I find words
When I'm speechless
Can we start over
And forget all the exposure
I finally see
What you really mean to me
