Slowly changing
As I hear the clock tick
But everyone doesn't see
The other side of me
I want to be alone
This is not a home
It's a place to hold our secrets
That will forever stay unknown
This place is not your throne
Your castle is empty
Now you're on your own
Even misery left
Guilt won't allow me to forget
Did you ever escape yourself?
I will never go back
To that hell
That you call a house
Where no one should ever be allowed
Somewhere that's filled with broken vows
And they're oblivious to what's around
You possess a cold heart
Tearing everyone apart
You are the embodiment of ruthless
With words that are venomous
My bedroom walls caged me in
An exit was not an option
Wr can't feel love
You fucked us all up
Happiness does not exist
No one's allowed to feel it
I'm gonna let you down
I fall to the ground
Look me straight in my face
Laugh at my pain
They cannot give me everything
Not a soul to guide me
Back to my feet
And into the light
Where I'll find
The most pleasant sound
This is why
