That I once knew?
Even in doubt
You still convinced me
To pull through
After everything
That's tried to build us
This is who we became
I was made to be strong
Just to see you walk away
I can't let you go
Will I ever move on?
Time will only know
You dress me
Like a broken oath
Because that's who you are
That's how you cope
You have a way with words
You make it very clear
"Let's see that smile
I don't want any tears"
I can't continue
To live this lie
You're the one
Who's been breaking me down
Inside
According to all the dreams
It seems
It's my only escape
The recklessness
Is a risk
That I'm willing to take
Anything to get away from you
You are no longer a home
