The leader walks in the back
From behind
She can see what they really think
Sandpaper tongue and dusky mouth
Ring up the right beat
Does everyone know
That the bird undressed as a serpent?
What about the loyal marks inked onto the script?
Everyone is still facing forward
Your back is turned on it
A little bit of money to add to your beauty
I don't want to end up like you
The way you are and what you do
You're still wearing the same skin
Just like I always knew
Invisible as the outcast
But you're still not taking it back
Don't you've think you've gotten out of hand?
Too far for me to reach
Maybe if you'd just let go of your pride
You'd be able to be free and fly
Instead
You have a bigger issue
You're falling apart
And there's nothing you can do
Sinking further into the void
Where we cannot be your toys
So now you're running away
Because you have no one to take the blame
A knife is where it begins
And the blood stain ends
We don't want any repeats of this again
We'll sing until you can no longer breathe
Darling, you're going down
And there's nothing at the bottom
To pick you back up off the ground
Silent calls are unheard screams
Your need for help is a fun game of hide and seek
You're too late
Nobody is gonna wait
You're all alone
Just like we were
When you broke us down to the bone
