A/N wow, so we've finally reached the end of this book! I can't tell you how happy writing this has made me, and reading all of your comments and feedback. For now, the story of Rhylee and Tom is coming to an end. But don't worry, they'll be back soon. I'm not sure how long it will be until I can keep on track with book 2, I have some chapters prewritten, but not enough to start uploading yet. Thank you all so much for reading, voting and interacting with this story, I really hope you've enjoyed it. 💖

I will be adding a TW for this chapter: it contains, mentions of blood, medical procedures and a car accident.

After a restless and fitful sleep, I decided to crawl out of Tom's bed just before 6 am. Letting him sleep peacefully. My tossing and turning over night surely would have disturbed his sleep.

I camped downstairs on the lounge with a hot coffee, Tessa and Archie coming to sit with me and keep me company. A music channel played quietly in the background, as I slipped in and out of sleep again. My eyes felt too heavy to stay open, but when I closed them, my mind was filled with all sorts of horrible visions regarding this whole possible stalker situation.

I tapped my phone, the screen lighting up and showing the time was 7:23am. Knowing I wasn't going to get any more sleep, I got up again. Walking quietly into Tom's bedroom and getting myself changed I texted Peter to let him know I was going out to get some breakfast then coming straight home to Tom.

His reply was quick, saying he would follow in a car, giving me a description of the vehicle and number plate. Putting dark sunglasses over my eyes I scribbled a note to Tom letting him know of my plans, leaving it on his bedside table.

He exhaled a peaceful sounding sigh as I pressed a feather light kiss to his cheek. On my way out of his room, I grabbed one of his caps, tying my hair into a messy low bun and attempted to hide myself under the hat. Saying a quick goodbye to the dogs, I pulled the front door shut behind me, the automatic locks kicking in.

Unlocking my car with the little remote, I hopped in and started the engine. The car was idling while heating up. A few metres down the street I could see the car Peter had described, knowing he was here now, I set off on my journey.

The idea of seeing some friendly faces was so comforting so I headed over to Lucy & Jace's cafe. There was more traffic on the roads than usual today, the trip taking more time than I expected.

From the small screen on the centre part of the dashboard, I called Mary quickly. I knew she'd be at the shop by now. I wanted to fill her in on what was happening quickly. She answered on the second ring, her voice sounding pleased to hear from me.

"Hi Rhylee, how are you my dear?" She asked me, her voice sounding so comforting.

"Hey Mary, I'm okay, I'm just about to head into the cafe up the street, could you meet me for a few minutes?" I spoke while driving through the busy streets.

"Of course, how far off are you?" She replied, I could hear her typing away on the computer in the store.

"I should be there in about five minutes," I said, guessing my arrival time.

"See you soon, bye Rhylee" Mary said, we said our goodbyes and I pushed the red phone symbol on the steering wheel to end the call. Not long after, I pulled up outside my favourite cafe. I could all but taste the coffee already.
