I stood in my wardrobe, undecided what I should wear today. I was half tempted to go the extra comfort route with trackies and a hoodie. After running my hands through all sorts of different items of clothes and materials I finally settled on an outfit.

Pulling my dark grey skinny jeans up my legs, I buttoned them up at my waist. I threw cropped light pink hoodie over my head, untucking my hair from inside of the hoodie.

I brushed my hair out quickly, the red waves falling over my shoulders. Applying a very minimal makeup look of just concealer, pressed powder and mascara I was almost ready to go. I grabbed a mini back pack to throw all of my stuff in and shoved my feet into my converse.

Archie was spinning around in circles at the bottom of the stairs when I left my room. I made myself a quick coffee and some toast as an easy breakfast. Stacey was picking me up at 10, and it was already 9:30.

I took my breakfast outside and watched as Archie charged around the backyard. I threw around a tennis ball for him after I finished eating, hoping to burn some of his energy before I left.

My phone beeped next to me and the message was from Stacey telling me she was here.

"Cmon Arch" I called, heading back inside. Following me in, Archie padded to his water bowl taking a long drink. I locked the door behind me and grabbed my keys of the entry stand.

"Be good, see you later!" I said to him as I closed the door. Staceys cute little car idled at the curb and I hurried down the path to meet her.

"Hey!" She called out,

"Hey how are you?" I asked her as I took off my backpack and buckled myself in. I was trying to save up money from work so I could afford to get a car.

Realistically, theres no way I could buy a brand new one, But I was considering getting a second hand car, or possibly applying for a finance plan at a car dealership.

" Yeah good, I'm excited for today"  She said with a smile, turning her head to check for traffic as she steered away from the curb.

"Me too, I love going into the city" I chimed.

As we drove towards the heart of the city, we talked about our plan of what shops we wanted to visit, we sang along, pretty badly, to the music on the radio and I gave a stellar lip sync performance of Thanks For The Memories by Fall Out Boy.

Stacey was in fits of laughter and my stomach hurt from laughing at myself. Before long we were pulling into a parking centre. Stacey swung her little car into a spot and I committed the row letter and colour to memory.

I had a bad habit of forgetting where I parked my car back in Australia. It once took me over and hour to walk all the levels and rows of the car park before I eventually found my ride.

I followed Stacey as she took off towards the exit. She seemed to be on a mission to shop today and I wasn't going to stand in the way of that.

We entered the shopping centre on the lowest level and took off towards the brightly lit Zara store. The clothing line they had at the moment was incredible. There was so many pieces that I wanted to get, I had to have a stern word with myself about not blowing all my money in the first store..

Scouring the shop, Stacey pulled a few items from the racks to try on. I found a few things to try on but no where near as much as Stace and we headed off towards the change rooms.

"I wanna see all the potential date outfits" I said to her before stepping into the cubicle. I pulled my hoodie over my head and tried on the deep green coloured coat I found. It fit me really nicely and I loved the tortoise shell coloured buttons, so I added it to my keep pile.
