I could faintly hear the annoying sound of my alarming chiming from where my phone was charging. I tried to ignore it and doze back off to sleep. But the annoying jingle was too hard to ignore, I groaned and pushed the covers off me as I sat up in bed.

I switched the alarm off quickly when I realised Tom was still sleeping. I slid out of the bed to get ready for work. Splashing my face with warm water I felt more awake and began applying some simple makeup. Just as I finished my mascara I heard Tom call out my name.

"Rhylee?" He said in his velvety morning voice.

"In here" I replied, stepping into the door frame so Tom could see me. A sleepy smile crossed his face when he saw me. He looked so sweet it made my heart melt. His deep chestnut hair in disarray, pointing up in all directions.

I gathered my products in my toiletry case and repacked them into my overnight bag. On the bed, I laid out my outfit. I took off my pyjamas and got dressed into my clothes for the day, leaving my shoes off.

Crossing the room to Tom's side of the bed, I leaned down and kissed him softly.

"Good morning" I said, fluffing his messy hair slightly.

"Morning gorgeous" He said softly as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and sat up. Stretching his arms above his head I let my gaze trail down his stomach, biting the inside of my lip at the sight of his physique.

I cleared my throat and averted my gaze. I pulled my hair from its elastic, letting my long locks fall down past my shoulders. Brushing through any tangled with my fingers gently.

There was a scratching noise coming from the other side of Tom's bedroom door.

"I wonder who that could be" I said sarcastically. Opening up the door, two very excited pups were waiting on the other side wagging their tails.

Tom climbed out of bed and pulled on his track pants and a long sleeve black shirt.

"Breakfast?" He asked me.

"That'd be great, I'll be down in a sec" I said.

"Cmon pups, let's get you something to eat" He spoke to the dogs who were dancing around his feet at the mention of food.

I made sure my bag was packed neatly and that my handbag had everything I needed for work, tossing my phone in with my other belongings. Grabbing my stuff and shoving my feet into my shoes, I headed downstairs after Tom.

We ate breakfast together at the kitchen bench. Tom was telling me more about his press tour and the places he'd like us to visit some day. My smile widened when we talked about us travelling together. I hope it was something we got to do again soon.

"Shit I'm going to be late" I said as I glanced at the clock on the wall. I knocked back the last of my coffee and was about to take my plate to the dishwasher.

"Leave it, I'll tidy up later" Tom said scooting off the stool. I picked up my bag from the floor and gave Archie a scratch behind his ears and told him to behave himself.

"Be back soon" Tom called out to the dogs as we bustled out the front door. I was glad I wasn't the only one who told my pet stuff like that.

Tom unlocked the car with the litter beeper as we buckled in and headed off to the store.

"Hey I was wondering if you'd help me with something?" I turned towards him in my chair to ask.

"Yeah? What's that?" He asked me, one hand on the steering wheel, the other holding my hand that was resting on his thigh.

"Well, I've been thinking about getting a car for myself but I'm not sure where to look, I thought maybe you could help me out?" I asked him.

He brought my hand to his lips, kissing my knuckles softly.
