I rubbed sleep from my eyes while a foggy haze still clouded my mind. As I began to wake up more my senses came back to me.
I could hear the soft breathing of someone next to me. I could feel the warmth of their skin.
I cracked my eyes open to see that my arm was draped over the mid section of someone with killer abs.
I looked up to see peacefully expression painted on Toms face. The events of last night all came back to me in quick flashes that left the cut on my face stinging with pain.
I carefully rolled away from Tom and got out of the bed, slipping the cotton short up my legs. I went into the bathroom to wash my face and hopefully find some mouth wash, because I could also still taste all the booze I consumed last night and it wasn't nice, at all.
After using the bathroom I let my hair down and combed it slightly with my fingers. I crept out of the bedroom not wanting to wake Tom up.
I headed downstairs and saw the rest of the guys still sleeping on the couch. It was about 9:30 in the morning and I desperately wanted coffee.
There were plastic cups and bottles strewn across the island counter, I checked under the sink for a bin bag or something to put the rubbish in.
I found what I was looking for and quietly began tidying up the space. In a corner spot of the kitchen sat a sleek grey coffee machine. I worked out that if I pressed the silver lever upwards it would open and a coffee pod would sit inside.
There was a clear container next to the machine so I grabbed a pod, put it in the coffee maker and found a cup to put under the spout.
Three white ceramic jars were lined against the splash back and after opening the second one I found some sugar and put some in my cup.
The coffee was pouring, the strong aroma filling the kitchen. I found some milk in the fridge and also began pulling out some stuff to make breakfast.
I still felt guilty about the party being cut short because of the confrontation between Ellie and I. I thought maybe waking up to a cooked breakfast would smooth things over with my new friends.
There was bacon, eggs, mushrooms and some little sausages on the counter and I found two frying pans in the drawer under the hob.
In a glass bowl I whisked up some eggs adding salt and pepper. I put some bacon and sausages in a hot pan and they sizzled at the heat.
A second pan was filled with the eggs as I stirred them regularly to make a fluffy scramble.
The kitchen smelt delicious and I saw Jacob coming up the hallway.
"Morning" I smiled.
"This smells amazing" He said taking a seat at the island counter. He only sat for a minute before making himself a coffee as well.
"Should be ready soon, do you wanna wake the others up? " I asked, returning to the pan to flip and stir.
"Yeah sure" He stirred his cup of hot coffee and added some milk.
After a few sips Jacob left the kitchen and returned a few minutes later with Harrison who looked a bit worse for wear and the twins still rubbing sleep from their eyes.
"Morning everyone"
They grumbled their own versions of good morning too me. I could tell they were feeling pretty hung over
Jacob seemed fine. And I appeared fine too, except I was faking it big time. My head was pounding and I felt like I was going to hurl at any minute.
