After a few seconds of being out there I hear them screaming at each other. "What makes you think you can randomly pop in here!?" "Maybe the fact that I haven't seen you in 5 years and I'm finally free?" "You can't show up here unexpectedly!" "I have the right!" "Did the police say, 'oh come on in Andre and surprise your brother who doesn't give a damn about what you say?" Wow that was really harsh of Andrew to say. Not long after I see Andrew come in with his nose bleeding and his eye black and swollen. I wiggle myself out of the bed and bring my IV machine with me. I walk over to him, hand him a tissue and rub his back. "What was that all about?" "My brother has been in jail for 5 years because he tried to kill our dad." My eyes went wide. "My mom said if or when he ever got released to avoid him. I was trying to protect you from him. I failed. I don't even think he's gone." He removes the tissue from his nose. "Does it look broken?" I examined it for a little while. "Nope we're all good!" He gave me a weak smile. "It's ok baby!" I say leaning over to give him a hug when the door bursts open. His brother is back! He's in my hospital room aiming a taser at me. "Do as I say and pretty lady doesn't get hurt." I was going to make a dash for my bed when my machine started beeping. Yes! I finally saved the day. Andre was still holding the taser when the nurse came in. I mouthed to her "call security!" and pointed towards the laser. The nurse ran out of the room and less than a minute later security was there. Andrew grabbed me by the waist and pulled me back out of the way. Andre kept fighting security and kept swinging his laser at them. Missing them everytime. "I turned around and started crying in Andrew's chest. "I just want to go home!" I whisper to him tears streaming down both our faces. "Me too!" Andrew whispers back to me. Security finally got him to calm down and escorted him into a cop car. "You know what this means? He said, raising a brow. "We have alone time!" I said trying to be cheerful. "Yes, but I meant we will have to go to court." I roll my eyes. "Usually there are only one to three trials, so you don't need to worry." "Yeah, yeah. I just want to go home. Can you please convince the nurse to let me go home?" "I will try!" He said as he walked me back to my bed. He scooped me up in his arms and gently laid me down in my annoying hospital bed.
