On the way to the attending lounge I steal a couple pregnancy tests for me and Kendra. We were dared to take them by one of our friend's in a group chat we're in. I shove the tests in my pocket and go to the attendings lounge. 'Hey, I got a few tests for us to take. I'm going to take mine tonight and send it on the group chat!' I text her. 'Oh, I just bought a few from the store ! Lol!' She says. 'All for me then!" I text back and she doesn't reply. I go on my little play date with Hailey. We had so much fun! I never realized how much I missed going on a merry-go-round until today! After I got home from my play date I noticed I got a text from Andrew. 'I'm going to be in a surgery until 7:00. See you then! Love you!' Well at least I can take the test without him knowing. I stand in the bathroom starring at all 10. Waiting for the three minutes to be up. *Ding! Ding! Ding!* The timer went off. I flipped them all over. The lines on the test were dark blue. I couldn't breath. I felt like I was going to pass out or be sick or something! I dial Andrew's number and he answers. "Hey, Cruse. I'm in surgery. What do you need?" He says all cheery. "I...I..They're dark blue! I..n-need..." I pass out. "Cruse? Cruse! You better not be playing with me! Someone come take my place!" The phone hangs up.
