The days went on, painfully slow.
By now, I’ve settled into the routine of getting beaten up by Ty.
I mean, I don’t hate him..well..actually, I kinda do..
I understand that his technically is forced to beat the sh*t out of me, but still..
It hurts both physically and mentally to be kicked and punched by the guy who you trusted and well…liked…
….Don’t look at me like that!
Anyways, everytime we have a sparring session, Iris would always record the fight, but whenever we finish, she would throw camera at the ground.
I mean…its none of my concern..but is it really necessary to film a fight then immediately destroy it after its done? I’m just saying…
But today, after the match was done and D3AD_L0X apologized for the fiftieth time, I staggered to my feet and abruptly left the room.
He called after me, but after getting your *ss handed to you, you aren’t typically in the mood to talk to the d*ck who did it.
I stomped down the halls, wandering aimlessly as I tried to calm my nerves down.
Out of the blue, I heard some sniffling.
Curious, I followed my ears and continued down the hall and even further down a flight of stairs.
After what felt like eternity, I finally reached the bottom.
Sliding my hand around the walls, I found a panel and pressed it, thinking that it would lead me to the source of the crying, but to my dismay, nothing happened.
Cursing, I felt around some more, but that panel was the only thing that could open the door.
“Sky…what are you doing here?!” a voice hissed behind me.
Turning around, I eyed down my stalker. “Go away Ty…” I grumbled, and resumed looking around the wall.
I felt his eyes following my movement, and there was a long period of silence.
“What are you trying to do..?” Ty asked, breaking the stillness.
“Trying to find out where’s the crying coming from…” I answered bitterly.
He walked towards me. “And how do you think you’re going to be doing that?”
“By getting this door up…”
He gently pushed me aside, and I bit back a growl.
“Calm down, Sky…hes only trying to help…let him help you..everything will be alright Sky..” I told myself.
Ty looked at me strangely, but went back to what he was doing.
Eventually, he found the panel and proceeded to hack into the system, letting us enter.
We walked down the hall of the secret area, quiet.
Contrary to those who say “Silence is butter,” I honestly don’t like quiet.
But I didn’t want to talk to the mega buttface, so I kept my mouth shut.
Ty stopped me. “Sky…stay still..” he ordered, whispering.
I opened my mouth to object, but he shushed me again.
Up ahead, I could sense the presence of someone…someone..alive..
I blinked a couple of times, confused.
The jerk took a few steps forwards, careful not to make too much noise, but it was already too late.
The person knew we were here. And the fear that was radiating off it was growing more and more intense by the second.
“P-Please….D-Don’t..” it whispered.
Now I was even more confused.
Ty just raised his eyebrows. “Who are you..?” he asked in a hushed voice.
The girl looked up at him, confused.
“I….I..”
I hovered over to them.
“What are you doing down here? Why are you crying?” I asked, genuinely concerned.
She gulped and slowly looked over at my direction.
Then it hit me.
That voice…
I’ve heard it before…
“Aren’t you..Musona..?” I asked, the realization slowly sinking in.
The girl slowly nodded.
I was nearing an overload, and Ty hurriedly pushed me out of the chamber and towards the stairs.
“I’ll catch up with you later, alright Sky?”
I glared daggers at him, and he flinched.
Reluctantly, though, I hovered up flight after flight.
----------------------------------*A week later*----------------------------
It had been days since I discovered where the people I took hostage where, and that weighed down time even more.
I mean, not only do I have to get the sh*t beaten out of me, but now I also have to deal with the guilt squeezing every positive emotion out of me.
Sulking down to the gym for the “pain training”, I heard some buzzing noise.
Startled, I whipped my head around, trying to pinpoint the sound, but it seemed to be coming from everywhere.
Slowly continuing on the path, I pushed the door open.
Omega Master looked up wearly at me, and Ty wasn’t there.
Other than the other robot, the gang was all here.
“Wheres Ty?” I asked.
“I don’t know…” grumbled Master. She was obviously in one of her moods again.
I looked around, the buzzing sound becoming more and more noticeable by the minute.
“Hey..do you hear that?” I asked.
My master seemed puzzled. “Hear what?”
“The buzzing noise…it keeps getting louder and louder.”
Suddenly, she held her head piece and hissed.
“What?! ARE YOU SEIRIOUS?!” Master screamed and threw her headpiece..phone..thingamabobber at the ground, and I winced.
“Great..first Iris and now you?” I muttered.
Then, Omega Master grabbed my arm and hurriedly dragged us both out of the place.
“W-What’s going on?!” I yelped, feeling the fear spreading throughout my system like a virus, eager to take hold of me.
“Duck! Cover! Run!” my master screeched at me, and at that moment, something crashed into the ceiling, busting a huge hole and sending debris falling down on us.
I exclaimed while ducking and covering, shaking and feeling the override about to take hold when a set of metal claws gripped my fractured body and pull me up towards the sky.
I kept screaming hysterically when I felt someone press my power button, and immediately I was swallowed in the calm, soothing void.
