Jason.

That’s the first thing that popped into my mind.

Well..actually, that’s the second thing, unless you count the startup words, which I don’t.

Springing to life, I sat up right, looking around crazily.

“Jason?!” I called out, waiting for the human to respond.

Instead, it was one of the scientists that replied to my sudden awakening.

The person jumped back and shrieked, obviously startled by my sudden movement.

The other held me down, fearing that I would go berserk and kill them or something.

Struggling, I started yelling gibberish and trying to break free.

I need to see him!

I..I need to!

That’s when some random guy burst into the room and started yelling stuff at the others.

At that point, my senses were nullified, so I couldn’t really understand what was going on.

I kept screaming and flailing, hoping to have my freedom again.

That’s when the person smacked me across the face.

“Ow!” I yelped, reaching my left hand up and rubbed my cheek.

Wait a second.

Did I just move my left hand?!

“Hey it works!” I exclaimed in delight and flexed around, relief flooding me.

“No dip, Sherlock..” the intruder just rolled his eyes at me.

Wait..that voice..

“Ty?”

“Yes it’s me. Now calm yourself down before I b*tch slap you again.”

Feeling a bit threatened, I raised my hands in front of me to hopefully protect my face. “No thank you.”

The other robot just rolled his eyes.

“Anyways, how are you feeling?” his voice was filled with genuine concern, and I heard some of the scientists leave the room.

The ones who stayed resumed back to their business and sorted through all their tools and thinggymabobbers.

“I’m fine..I guess..” I shrugged, lowing my hands and resumed flexing them.

Ty chuckled a little. “Sky, why you flexing your non-existent biceps?”

I smiled and socked him on the shoulder. “Who say’s I don’t have biceps?” I mused, staring at my arm proudly.

Ty rested his arm on my shoulder. “I just did, dum dum! Whatcha gonna do about it, punk?”

I laughed a little and shoved him away. “Imma punch you in da face, punk!” I reeled my fist behind my head, ready to strike.

Ty joined in with my laughter and took a few steps back. “Oh no, Sky! Dun do this, bro!”

“Too bad!” I hopped off the table and screamed in agony as I twisted my ankle while I landed, ultimately rolling it right out of it’s socket.

“Sky!” D3AD_L0X rand and caught me before I landed face-first onto the floor.

In an instant, we were surrounded by scientists. They literally dragged me from Ty’s arms and onto the table again as they sent to work, trying to find out what went wrong and fix it.

My friend was ushered out of the room as they brainiacs went to work.

After recovering from that little mishap, I wandered around the halls aimlessly.

Ty was whisked away on another mission, so I couldn’t hang out with him.

Iris was had gone with Ty.

Strangely enough, though, was that I could hear human voices coming from outside of the base.

Confused, I kicked off the floor and activated my hover system, silently floating above the ground.

Flying out of a window (like a boss), I kept following my ears.

There was a few rustles coming from the bushes, but other than that, everything was still.

“Hello?” I called out into the clearing, hoping to find out the cause of the sound.

“H-Hey Sky..” Windy was the first one to reply. She poked her head out of the undergrowth.

I smiled and landed in front of her, which took a while considering that I went down pretty slow just in case I sprain my ankle again.

Musona spoke next. “Have you seen Ty? We haven’t heard from him in a while now..”

I explained that he had gone on a mission with Iris.

Windy nodded. “Well..I’m glad to see that you’re doing better now!”

I smiled warmly at her. “Thanks!”

Musona quietly stood there; I could feel her eyes staring intently at me.

“What is it, Musona?”

“Oh, sorry..” she quickly broke her gaze. “I was just thinking, that’s all..”

I nodded again like a bobble head.

“Anyways..” Windy fidgeted around with a leaf she plucked from one of the trees. “I’m sorry to bring up this subject, but how is Jason doing?”

I paused, thinking of a logical answer. Which, in case you haven’t already figured out, I’m not really good at.

“I dunno…”

“But D3AD_L0X and I took both you and him back to Omega.”

I froze.

“He..wait..what?” I whispered, stuck to the ground like I was nailed down.

“Ty didn’t tell you?” Musona inquired.

“He..er…no..” I looked down at my feet, feeling apprehensive.

Windy and Musona looked at each other anxiously.

“…What happened?” I squeaked, biting my lip to stop it from quivering.

“Er…nothing..”

They both shuffled around, avoiding my sightless gaze.

The three of us just stood there awkwardly for a few minutes when I decided that I should be heading back to the HQ.

Bidding them a farewell, I trotted back to the base and strolled right on over to my cell.

Sitting down on the feeble bed and stared at the wall, organizing my thoughts.

Before I knew it, I heard someone turn off the lights.

“It’s already 10:00?” I groaned and smacked my palm against my forehead.

Chains rattling.

Soft laughter.

What’s going on?!

Slowly getting up, I staggered over to the bars that barricaded me from the rest of the base and tilted my head towards the sounds.

Yep, that’s defiantly not right.

“Jason..I’m startled..” murmuring, I gripped on of the bars, testing their strength.

Yep, too strong for me to break one without causing a ruckus.

“Hahaha..ahaha..”

Wait..was that..

Was that Jason laughing?!

Oh no..
