I started up in my cell, sprawled out on the “bed” and staring at the ceiling.

Groaning, I cradled my head in my hands, cursing.

The events of yesterday presented themselves to me once again, making me curse even more.

I took a deep breath to steady myself, guilt wrapping me up and swallowing me whole like some sort of twisted monster.

I felt remorse for what I had done…I should’ve listened to Sky..

But what did I do instead?

I blow him off and did what I was told, even though it was clearly wrong.

Jeez…how f*cked up can you get, Ty?

But anyways, at least the mission objective was reached.

Maybe I should go talk to Sky…

Maybe…I should fix things.

Maybe…there IS some human left inside of me..

Maybe…I am not the perfect pawn that Omega wishes I was..

After I was let out, I was told by Tris to go to the gym.

Confused, I followed her instructions and headed to the gymnasium.

As I pushed open the doors, I suddenly got a sickening feeling, which is always just f*cking lovely..

Sky, Omega Master, Iris, and Tris were aleady there.

Iris had a robotic right hand which nearly made me throw up.

Huh. Strange. I didn’t know that robots could throw up. But I do not intend to test that anytime soon.

I was told that I was the one who did that. Wincing, I forced myself to move.

“Oh good. Hes up and running.” Master observed, looking at me, tired.

I fidgeted nervously. “So..what did you call me in for?” I asked, my voice involuntarily cracking. I kicked myself and cursed under my breath.

“Since Sky can feel pain, I thought it would be beneficial for the both of you to have some…training sessions,” the leader explained.

“Wait…what?!” Sky yelled, looking as confused as I was. “I didn’t sign up for this!”

“Well, too bad!” snapped our master. “You’ll do as I say, Sky! And I don’t want any more objections, got it mister?!”

Sky grumbled but didn’t reply.

Composing herself again, Omega Master sighed. “Step into the center, both of you. We’ll be having a sparring session.”

“What?!”

“No way!”

She glared at us, the venom dripping from her gaze, and both Sky and I slowly staggered to the arena.

Iris ran off to get something, and Tris sighed, bored.

“Ready…FIGHT!”

I started to pace around my opponent, analyzing his stance and trying to pick out his flaws.

The other robot looked hesitant, almost timid, as he swung at me. I easily dodged his attack and landed a swift kick to the ribs.

Sky stumbled back a bit, but he looked up at me with sadness I didn’t understand.

Iris came back with a video camera and proceeded to record our fight.

I sighed and bit my lip as I hooked him in the jaw.

He staggered, holding his face in pain.

“Stop being such a pansy and fight back, Sky!” ordered our leader.

Sky glared at her, but charged at me. I quickly sidestepped and kicked him on the back, causing him to fall.

5KY_DR0N3 tried to get up, but I didn’t allow that. I repeatedly kicked him as his attempts to stand kept faltering.

“Jeez Ty….why are you so vicious?!” I thought to myself, suddenly backing away.

Looking around, I saw that Tris had left the room, Iris still recording, and Omega Master quietly dozing off.

My opponent stayed on the ground, despite my efforts to help him up.

“Get away from me, bastard!” he yelled, curling up into a ball.

I looked around, nervously, but took a few steps back.

Sky slowly got up, rubbing his wounds.

Then the realization hit me: there were dents all over his body.

I-I didn’t mean to hurt him that much!

His sightless gaze were daggers as he glared at me.

Iris, knowing that the match was over, threw the camera against the ground, smashing it.

Omega Master was awoken by that sound. “Huh?” she yawned, stretching.

Both Sky and I glared at her.

The starter of the match observed us, thinking. “Well…it seems like Sky had taken the worst beating…” she noted. “And Ty barely even has a scratch.”

“Well…carry on then..” Master waved her hand as she left the gym.

I looked back at Sky, only to see him glaring at me again.

“What..you going to listen to that b*tch and carry on beating the sh*t out of me..huh?!” he spat.

The wounds struck me like a sword.

“I-I…I didn’t mean it…” I mumbled, fidgeting.

“You knew full well that I can feel pain, and yet what do you do?! You still hit me and punch me and kick me! And yet what do you do?! You listen to that godd*mn Master!” he screamed as the tension growing more and more by the minute.

Sky shook his head. “I thought I trusted you! I thought we were friends! I thought that you knew better!”

Suddenly, I felt like it was hard to breathe, hard to do anything but stare.

I staggered backwards, feeling the emotions brewing like an upcoming storm.

“I….I….”

“You what, Ty?!”

“I’m sorry….I’m so..so…sorry…”

That’s when my system overloaded, and I was engulfed by the calming darkness again.
