I focused my good eye on the Delta’s forces.

Taking a deep breath, I pulled the trigger.

I flinched as I watched the recruit I aimed at fall to the ground.

When will this war ever end..?

At the beginning, I was excited. 

I wanted Delta to pay for all the things that they did to me.

But now…I don’t even know what I’m doing anymore..

How is killing so many people going to solve anything?

I mean..I don’t question Tris or Demon’s orders, but..

Even someone like me has a limit on how much killing they can do.

And right now, I’d say I’m two times over my limit.

Ducking as someone fired at me, I laid there on the earth, hoping that that person thought that he had killed me.

Tilting my head upwards, I slowly pulled my gun in front of me and sniped another person and immediately played dead again.

Well, it didn’t work this time.

There was a heavy stream of butted headed my way, knocking off my helmet and bombarding my head.

This time I actually did black out.

Laughter.

That’s the first thing I heard.

What’s going on?! How can there be laughter in a belligerency?!

“Happy Birthday, Ty!”

It’s not my birthday!

I don’t even know when my birthday is?!

I was brought to a small, cozy looking house that was decorated with colorful streamers and balloons.

“Thanks guys!” 

Wait..who are these people here?!

I could recognize Jason and Sky based on their voice, but the others..

Mitch.

Jerome.

Martin.

Ian.

Quentin.

Simon.

Brice.

Baki.

Taylor.

Jordan.

They were all here.

How do I know these people?!

“Make a wish, birthday boy!” Martin yelled, laughing.

Wait..are these memories from when I was a human?!

“I” blew out the candles on the birthday cake.

There were eighteen of them.

Does that mean I am 18?

There was cheering and lots of people blew their party favors in my face.

“Happy birthday man!” Jason smiled.

I smiled, despite myself.

“Thanks guys..you really shouldn’t have..”

“Come on man! You deserve this!” Jordan replied, punching my shoulder playfully.
