Yeonjun
"Bye Taehyun and Hyuka! Thanks for the book!"
I closed the door behind me and sighed. The minute they were gone, Beomgyu sat up from the couch curiously.
"What'd you and strawberry talk about?" He asked with a smile.
"You mean Taehyun?" I corrected, walking over to the fridge, "We just talked about stuff."
"What kind of stuff?"
"Just stuff," I replied, opening the fridge. Beomgyu tilted his head and pouted.
"Yeonjun, what did you guys talk about? Is it about me?" He whined, tugging at my arm.
"We just talked about stuff, that's it," I replied, and lied, "Nothing important, and it wasn't about you."
"Hey," I said, trying to changing the subject, "We should go to the store, I'm missing some groceries and I gotta get you some more food."
I grabbed Beomgyu's hat and handed it to him.
"If I put on this hat, are you gonna tell me what you and cherry talked about?" He asked, fitting it on his head.
"No I'm not telling you," I replied blankly, and grabbed my jacket, "It's nothing important anyways, we were just talking."
"About stuff," Beomgyu mumbled under his breath.
We got to the store, I grabbed a basket and checked the list on my phone. While we were shopping, Beomgyu gave me a nudge.
"So can I guess what you and the other dude were talking about?" He asked, "I'm good at guessing things! I like guessing things. For example, I'm guessing you forgot to wear socks this morning!"
I stopped, looking down at my feet and lifting up the pant leg.
"Hah! You guessed wrong," I said boldly, "I did wear socks this morning, jokes on you."
Beomgyu slumped his shoulders, "Looks like I still have improving to do. I'll catch you off guard next time."
"But can I still guess what you were talking about earlier?" Beomgyu pleaded, "Pleeease? I really wanna know."
I rolled my eyes, and shook my head. Beomgyu scowled, crossing his arms. We were shopping around a bit more until my basket was almost full of items. Beomgyu helped me carry the basket, he held one handle and I held the other.
"I bet you're scared to tell me," He teased, "Is it because I can't keep secrets?"
"At least tell me this," Beomgyu asked quietly, "You're not getting rid of me, are you? Are you gonna take me somewhere and leave me there?"
"Of course I'm not going to get rid of you," I replied, "You know I don't have the heart to do that, and I don't think you'd be able to survive out there on your own."
Beomgyu hummed in response, adjusting the hat on his head. He stayed quiet. I felt a twinge of guilt for not being able to tell him. However, he'd be a lot better off not knowing. He shouldn't have to keep worrying about his or my own safety anyways, there's no use getting worked up about it.
"Hey," I spoke up, "It's really boring stuff anyways, I don't think you'd want to hear about it anyways."
"You'll probably hear it and regret wanting to know so badly in the first place," I joked, giving him a light nudge, "Taehyun was just worried about us, that's all."
Beomgyu still stayed quiet, and he didn't seem to believe me. I heard him murmur something to himself and huffed.

Beomgyu
What the hell was Yeonjun talking about? It made no sense to me why his friend was so worried about us. It makes no sense and Yeonjun's not telling me anything! What is there to worry about? I'm not going to burn his place down or anything, then I'd have no Yeonjun or no more place to live. I felt a twinge of anger, frustrated that Yeonjun wasn't telling me anything but dodging my questions.
We finished up at the store and started to head back home. I helped Yeonjun carry some of the bags of stuff we had bought. I tried to ask Yeonjun again, but he still dodged my questions. I thought to myself what they possibly could've talked about.
His friend sounded angry when he found about me, but I couldn't tell if it was anger or just being genuinely shocked. I still couldn't shake off the thought that Yeonjun could ditch me one day, and then I'd have to survive out in the wild. But, it didn't seem like that was what they were talking about. Yeonjun kept insisting he was "worried", but I couldn't put my finger on what he was so worked up about.
"Hey hey Beomgyu," He said to change the subject, "I got these cinnamon roll things, I haven't seen them for awhile but they're one of my favorites. You should try one when we get home."
"Can you tell me if I try the cinnamon rol-"
"No, but they're really good," Yeonjun interrupted, "I think you would like them, I'll even give you an extra one if you stop asking about Taehyun and I."
I scowled, unwillingly agreeing.
We got home, setting the groceries on the counter. Yeonjun took out a black, plastic box with a few light and dark brown swirls inside. I helped him unpack. Yeonjun opened the black and clear plastic box, grabbing a fork from the drawer nearby.
"Here," He offered me, "It's cinnamon and sugar!"
I opened my mouth, Yeonjun feeding me one of those cinnamon rolls. Surprisingly, it was a lot better than cookies than I had expected. Yeonjun ate one from the package and asked me what I thought of them.
"They're really good!" I smiled, grabbing another, "We should've gotten more."
"Eh," Yeonjun shrugged, "I should try to make it by myself sometime, Soobin's told me they're fairly easy to make. I've never tried my hand at baking though."
"They look difficult to make," I replied, washing off the sugar from my hands in the sink. Yeonjun shrugged, putting the lid back on the plastic container.
"So you said you were talking about stuff, earlier, right?" I asked, leaning on the counter. Yeonjun paused and frowned.
"I thought we agreed not to talk about it anymore," He said bitterly, "I already told you, it's nothing you need to know about. I'm sorry Beomgyu."
I rolled my eyes, helping Yeonjun put the rest of the groceries away.
