OCTAVIA

THE HAJI UNIVERSITY won as the overall champion of the Sports Festival.

"Congratulations, Haji University!" The emcee cheerfully announced that made the crowd wild in chanting our school's name.

They were so loud that it felt like my eardrums will burst out. Everyone was cheering, especially those who are wearing our school's uniform. I can tell that they enjoyed the long week of Sports Festival. A dinner with her.

I smiled and searched for my Ferish using my sight. Their team was also the champion for the baseball. Wala sila kahit isang talo. We also the won the game against that Lucyfer woman, but their university wants to team with us for the upcoming Regionals level sports.

Ferish was selected to participate in Regionals, and I am, too. But, the bad news is... I might not be able to attend because I have a scheduled OJT in the office. It is still uncertain.

I'll still try to join, para may kasama siya.

Everyone celebrated. They were screaming in joy, chanting phrases about how great the university is. I can feel their happiness. Well-deserved for all the hardwork we did. It is somehow nice to see them happy.

A lot happened during the Sports Festival. A lot of revelation.

"Congratulations, Quinsley," someone greeted with that familiar voice, so I turned my glance to the woman, who was wearing a sweet smile which is obviously fake.

I almost smacked her head when I turned my gaze over her. I scoffed. I swear, she was so great while playing the game.

"Thanks," I answered with a stoic expression, displeased to see her come for me. This Lucyfer woman is getting into my nerves even if she's merely standing in front of me. Can I slap her just once? I would really love to. "What?" I asked, annoyed, when she was left staring at me like she's scrutinizing my existence.

She took a step forward that closed the distance between us, but I didn't budge in my place. I raised an eyebrow. We're of the same height and she has that wicked look in her eyes, which is something that I utterly dislike. "Nothing, Quinsley. Just thinking how it would be excruciating if you happen to lose Ferish," she shrugged off her shoulders, taunting me---and what does she mean by that?

"Can you get out of my sight?" I asked, emphasizing each word because I am literally close to slapping her thick-looking face.

Instead of getting scared, she leaned herself even more close that I felt her warm breath on my ear; it gave me shivers out of disgust. "She is such an amazing girl and is utterly attractive," she chuckled mischievously, obviously teasing me and trying to get into my nerves. "I wonder... how would she taste like?"

The last sentence left me petrified on my place; my eyes grew wide when I finally realized what she said. I was supposed to slap her without any hesitation, but someone caught my hand from behind.
