(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
As it turns out, I wasn't very good at running, especially if not in immediate danger.
Luckily for me, though, as I was checking my phone to make sure I was headed in the right direction, I had accidentally ran into a guy that had been biking around Hosu, at a rather quick pace; my pole managed to help me stay standing, since I was able to use it to stabilize myself, but the guy had ended up falling off his bike.
The lucky part had came in after I had made sure he was alright.
He seemed to have noticed my slightly-panicked demeanor, and, with the addition of seeing my hero costume, decided to let me use his bike to get where I needed to go. I was a little hesitant to take it at first, knowing that he probably wouldn't have offered to let any other person to use it after they made him have a sudden, yet mostly harmless, crash, but, since this whole situation was making precious time tick away, I just gave in and got on the bike, putting on the helmet he gave to me as I told him to head over to the A&V Hero Agency to pick it up tomorrow.
After putting my pole into my satchel, and keeping my phone in one of my hands, I started biking off to the location.
While it may not seem obvious, having to bike around in a frilly magical girl outfit is not an easy task, especially when I had to deal with some of my frills almost getting caught in the wheels, or my shoes not being the best to pedal with.
At least there was no traffic for me to run into, since my focus was already split in so many directions.
My eyes moved up to focus on the street in front of me, after I had taken another glace at my phone, and, as I came up to a corner, I made a wide turn, before noticing a familiar head of red-and-white hair jogging on the sidewalk, urgency within his movements. Todoroki's here...? Well, that definitely makes me feel a lot safer, since he's super powerful...!
Stuffing my phone into my satchel, I kicked up my pedaling to match Todoroki's urgent pace.
"Hey, Todoroki!" I said, seeing him glance over to me, "You got Midoriya's message too? ...you think it's serious?"
While I received no verbal response from the ice maker, his serious expression was enough of an answer for me; I just focused on the road in front of me, making sure to follow Todoroki as he ran.
This was the arrangement for a short while, before Todoroki slowed down to a stop, and, due to my pedaling, I breezed past him, which made me squeeze the handles of the bike. That made the brakes kick in, and the vehicle came to a sudden stop, nearly launching me forward, but my tight grip on the handles kept me from doing so.
As I got off the bike, I fumbled around with the helmet straps, before pulling it off of my head.
Since the bike didn't have a basket attached to it, I chose to let the helmet rest on one of the handles, while the vehicle would lean against a lamp post; this all seemed good and well, before I realized a slight problem. Shoot, what am I going to do if this bike gets stolen?! Any random stranger can just come and try to take it, if I leave it like this!
"(L/N)."
The sound of my name made me jump, before I turned my head towards Todoroki, seeing him glance between me and the alleyway we were next to. His eyes finally came to a rest on me, and I think that I could see slight concern in them.
"It's best if you stay here, instead of coming with me."
It only took me a moment to realize why Todoroki would suggest something like that, and I could understand where he was coming from, but, even though I had a public image of a "Quirkless" U.A. student that had the fighting skills of a kitten, there was no way that I was just going to sit idly by tonight. S-sure, I'm very scared... but I can still try to do something...!
