(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
My entire body was shaking, and it was at this point that I didn't care about how warm I was or how sweaty my hands were getting. I-if he looks my way, maybe he'll go easy on me because of my Charm! ...but I really hope he doesn't look my way!
I watched as Bakugo lifted one of his hands to his ear, which reminded me of the earpieces each team were given.
This made me wonder if it was (F/N) who was contacting Bakugo, but I knew it was more plausible that the person on the other end was Iida, since my best friend was clearly very reluctant to even mutter a greeting to his former friend. Since Bakugo's here, (F/N) is probably having a blast with Iida... though, Iida might not be enjoying (F/N)'s company...
"Just shut up and defend the weapon!" Bakugo yelled, making me flinch once again from his angry tone, "I've got more important things to worry about!"
As the Team D member in front of us re-focused his attention towards Midoriya, I felt the atmosphere tense up.
It had already been tense enough to be able to cut with a knife, but I was assuming that one would need a chainsaw to be able to even make a dent in it now. Ugh, now's not the time for jokes, me!
Bakugo quickly positioned one of his hands down towards the ground, making Midoriya let out a small gasp.
"Uraraka! (L/N)! Go!"
As soon as the word "go" was out of Midoriya's mouth, I found myself turning on my heel, one of my hands grabbing onto Uraraka's wrist as the other swung by my side. Run! Run! Run! Run!
I heard the sound of another explosion off of behind me, but knowing that it was coming from Bakugo was enough to make me not turn my head to see what was going on; my only concern right now was to get myself and Uraraka as far away as possible from the scene.
After having been in that tense atmosphere for so long, I would gladly do anything else.
Even if that did mean having to deal with the other two members of Team D, if we happened to run across them.
It would feel a lot safer than being around Bakugo. Especially if we run into (F/N)... he's probably acting like the type of villain who's super silly and is the main reason anyone watches the show!
The only thing I could do now, though, was run.
And run, I did.
-----
It had only been a few minutes before I had to slow down, my grip on Uraraka's wrist loosening as my hand fell down to hang off of my body. That was the most I had ever run! ...fear really is a great motivator, isn't it?
As I slumped over, taking in huge breaths and letting them out, I could hear my heart pounding in my ears.
"A-are you okay?" Uraraka asked, leaning over me with a concerned expression on her face, "You kinda looked like you were panicking back there..."
I took in another deep breath, letting it out as I stood back up. "I... I'm fine..."
My teammate continued to look at me with a frown on her face, one of her hands coming to rest on my shoulder. "Are you sure?"
"...no."
The slight surprise that replaced the worry on Uraraka's face made it clear that she wasn't expecting me to actually tell her that I was, indeed, not fine; it seemed like everyone would always insist that they were okay when they weren't, making the whole concept of someone coming clean to be almost unbelievable. And while it might be easier to just keep up the whole facade of being fine, there's no denying that letting my nerves fester alone isn't the best idea...
