(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"This is it!" (F/N) exclaimed, his grip on my arm tightening from his excitement, "Our first day at U.A.! Aren't you as excited as I am? Or are you more nervous? I'm guessing nervous, as you're not usually this quiet! Sure, you are a quiet person, but this is much more quiet than you normally are!"

The sound of our footsteps echoed slightly down the street, and I felt my eyes dart around the area, not being the least bit familiar with these new surroundings. Sure, I took a few test walks to get down a good path to take to school, but...

I wasn't mentally ready for this.

"...yes, I am nervous." I glanced at my best friend, seeing him with the same smile as always on his face. "For one, this is a completely different area than what I'm used to, and, secondly, in case you forgot, we're now heading towards the most prestigious hero school in the country. If we mess up somehow, everyone in the entire world could hear about it!"

(F/N) placed his free hand on my shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. "Now, now, calm down."

He kept his head facing my direction, and I gave in as I took in a few deep breathes, letting them out slowly.

"There, isn't that better?" (F/N) asked, before turning his head to face the direction we were walking, "Anyway, I'm pretty sure we won't get into enough trouble where they'll, like, expel us. And even if we do get in a jam, you could always just talk our way out of it, like you always do."

I shook my head rapidly, a large frown forming on my face. "No! T-that'd be manipulation! I'd be using my Quirk on Pro-Heroes for my own personal gain! Like a villain!"

"Pffft, being able to smooth-talk your way out of a bad situation is not nearly as bad as robbing a bank or terrorizing a city, (Y/N)!" (F/N) let out a short laugh. "Even with having a little extra something to help with said-smooth-talking! You are way overthinking this!"

"I... I just want to make sure I'm not using my Charm to do bad things, okay?!" I said, feeling my face start to warm up.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," (F/N) said, before tilting his head down at my arm, "...you really need to work on not being such a nervous wreck, you know? Every time you get nervous, you end up amplifying your Quirk, and every time you amplify your Quirk, you end up-"

"-as sluggish as a sloth, I know." I used my free hand to wave air into my warm face, the cool air of the morning feeling even cooler as heat radiated off of my skin. "I just can't help it... does this mean that nervous people are more charming? I know that I'm supposed to act charming to get my Charm to be stronger, but I'm pretty sure that really charming people are all smooth and confident, not nervous wrecks, and I can't recall a time that I acted smooth and confident when trying to get out of a sticky situation."

"...well, some people find nervousness cute," (F/N) said, smiling towards me, "Maybe they find you cute instead."

"Cute how? Like, cute cute, or...?"

"Probably kitten-cute."

I nodded my head, noticing how my face had cooled down significantly, and let out a sigh. Now that that's all settled...

"Hey, I've been wondering..." I started, causing (F/N) to turn his head to face me again, "All Might said that you got fifty rescue points during the exam, right?"

"Yup!"

"...but how?"

(F/N) put his free hand up to his chin, a smile still on his face. "Well... during the exam, it was really loud and stuff, as to be expected when dealing with giant robots. I ended up overhearing a few people who were talking about being hurt, or stuck, or just needed help, and I tried my best to help them! That's also probably why I only got four combat points, since helping out the other exam-takers took up a lot of time... and it's kinda hard to take down robots when you, one, can't see them, and, two, aren't suited for punching beings made out of metal."
