Sincere Affection (Various!My Hero Academia x Reader)

(F/N)'s Clip Show: "The Chips Are Down"

"We're going live in three, two, one..."

A single harsh spotlight shines down onto a stool, where a familiar goggles-wearing boy is sat; the bright light coming down from above made the dark blue of his current outfit stand out, and, combined with how the teenage boy seemed to be a little less energetic than usual, it was almost too easy to guess where he was before this chapter.

"Hello, lovely viewers-slash-readers!" (F/N) said, giving a small wave to the camera as he smiled at it, "Nice to see you all again for another episode-slash-chapter of (F/N)'s Clip Show! This is the place where we all get a little bit silly, hang out with a few of our favorite canon characters, and take a moment to relax from whatever my bestie, (Y/N), is currently going through, though, actually, I'm pretty sure she's doing just fine right now!"

(F/N) waved one of his hands to the side, his other hand resting on his lap.

"The U.A. Sports Festival isn't as stressful as it seems..." His smile dropped a little, and he averted his gaze from the camera. "Well, except for the threat of being transferred out of the hero course..."

The host shook his head, letting a smile come to his face again. "But, that's not the focus of this chapter!"

(F/N) gestured with his hand over to his right. "Time to meet our special guests for this episode!"

The camera followed (F/N)'s movements, stopping on an area covered in shadows, before a spotlight came to life and shone down on two stools that held the two U.A. students chosen as the special guests: Jiro Kyoka and Midoriya Izuku.

Both of the special guests quickly looked around the area, eyes wide and confusion written on their faces, before they caught sight of (F/N) sitting on a stool not too far away from them, a smile on his face as he took in the presence of who he was going to get to hang out with for the remainder of this chapter; not a single word was spoken between them, before (F/N) lifted one of his hands in greeting.

"Hi."

"(F/L/N)?!" Midoriya exclaimed, snapping out of his shock as he glanced around the area again, "W-where are we?!"

As Midoriya quieted down into worried mutters after his initial outburst, Jiro leaned away from the green-haired boy, a look of concern and confusion on her face as she turned her attention over to (F/N). "...what he said."

"Glad you asked," (F/N) said, clapping his hands together, which made both of the spotlights shut off, before they came back on only a second later. He got off of his stool, and reached down to grab something inside of the box that sat near his stool, which the camera was pretty sure wasn't there just a moment ago. "In fact, I had the mysterious void people prepare something to help explain what's going on, so that I don't have to use up a whole paragraph to explain myself. The audience already knows about it, so they don't want to keep hearing about it over and over again."

"...what?" Jiro asked, watching as (F/N) grabbed two brochure-like items out of the box, "...I'm just going to guess that what you just said is going to be explained in those?"

(F/N) nodded, walking over to his classmates with a brochure in each hand. "Read up, you two."

Jiro took the brochure into her hands, opening it up and starting to go over the information inside; it seemed like there were hints of nervousness appearing in her frown as her eyes scanned over the text, but the camera returned its main focus to (F/N) as it watched him wave the brochure in Midoriya's face.

"Midoriya... Midoriya..." (F/N) let a frown come onto his face, not happy with Midoriya's lack of focus. "...Izuku!"

At (F/N)'s exclamation, Midoriya snapped out of his thoughts, and looked to see (F/N) waving a brochure in his face.
