A Sinking Feeling

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"This is turning out to be a terrible day of class," Asui said, letting out a small sigh. That may be a little bit of an, I don't know... understatement...? But, yeah, I can agree with that...

"Yeah, I keep thinking about what that villain said..." Midoriya said as he nodded his head, a serious frown appearing on his face, "...they knew our whole schedule and who would be here. They must've gotten into school files while we were all stuck in the cafeteria. The teachers were busy trying to get the media off of school grounds... that means they've been waiting for the perfect time to attack, just like Todoroki said they were."

I let Midoriya's words sink in, but I made sure to keep myself in a calm state. Actually, in this situation, wouldn't it be a little helpful for my Charm to amplify? Well, it wouldn't be helpful to distract my classmates right now...

This wasn't the time to be questioning my own morals about using my Quirk, but I could try to find answers later.

I had a lot of things to think about.

"Hey, hold on a second!" Mineta said, raising his fists up as he let a determined expression appear on his face, "It's not like these guys can really kill All Might! Once he shows up, he'll pound these villains until there's nothing left!"

As Mineta punched the air beside him, I wanted to let out a small laugh, since he was reminding me so much of (F/N).

However, this wasn't the right time to do so. Plus, laughing is one of my amplifying triggers! ...yes, it does suck!

"Think about it, though." Asui seemed to have a hint of a frown on her face, or maybe that was my imagination making it seem like there was something in her blank expression. "If the villains spent so much time planning this attack, then they probably figured out a way to kill him."

My eyes widened, and I knew it was from two kinds of shock: the idea of someone knowing how to kill All Might, and the bluntness of my green bodysuit-wearing classmate when saying it. But, it's fine! It's just... an idea...

"And didn't you hear what that smoke guy said?" Asui asked, her gaze still directed towards Mineta, "Maybe we should worry more about not getting tortured to death. Otherwise, we might not survive long enough to see All Might again, and even if he does show up, who knows if he'll make it out in one piece?"

I watched as an expression of terror grew on Mineta's face, still shocked from how blunt Asui was being.

It was time for me to make a decision. If he does freak out, should I step in and calm him down? There's the problem of the others being affected too, but I'm sure I can get them to focus if I tell them to, and since there's only two of them, it's not like I'll be in charge of an entire army or anything...

"No! The pros are gonna save us, right?!" Mineta asked, looking towards Midoriya and me as he frantically pointed at Asui, "Tell frog boobs to shut up!"

There was my answer. Okay, yeah, I'll calm him down, and maybe get him to stop yelling stuff about Asui's... chest...

Asui let out a small "ribbit" as she looked towards the water surrounding us, and it didn't take long for me to follow her gaze to see a group of villains swimming around the ship. Okay, so, now there's Mineta I gotta deal with, along with keeping Asui's and Midoriya's heads in the game, and also keeping the villains from torturing and killing us... no big deal...

Mineta let out a loud scream, a look of pure terror on his face. "Bad guys!"

I walked over to Mineta, before kneeling down beside him. "Mineta, please calm down."
