(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
The sun was shining, the cicadas were singing, and I was sat at my desk, my attention directed towards my homeroom teacher; even if it was a really nice day outside, I preferred to stay inside, and enjoy an area that had a temperature that was regulated and not likely to change out of nowhere.
While summer was a lovely season, especially with all the special events and activities that took place within it, it was hard for me to fully enjoy something that was so... warm.
I remember loving summer when I was younger, but then my Quirk appeared, and it practically ruined it for me.
It was incredibly easy for me to overheat back then, since I didn't have as much control as I do now, but, even though it was unlikely for me to experience that again, due to my higher level of control over Charm, just the mere memory of it was enough to leave a sour taste in my mouth when I thought about summer. The only things I still enjoy are the cold foods and water-based activities! Things that help to combat my above-average body temperature!
All I could do was hope that this year's summer wasn't going to have any stressful events take place.
That would be the last thing I needed.
"Well, it's almost time for summer vacation," Aizawa said, his voice snapping me out of my thoughts, and I focused on him once more, "Don't get too excited. You can't just relax an entire month. You'll be training..."
I let a frown onto my face, but I didn't know what else I expected. Maybe this season will pass by quickly...
"...while you're camping in the woods."
As a majority of my classmates cheered at the news, I just resisted the urge to let out a sigh; having to spend summer in the woods, as in a place with no air conditioning, was going to be less than fun for me, but I guess I could deal with it.
I wouldn't want to miss out on any fun that my classmates would have.
Talking about my classmates, they started to list out all of the fun things that camping together would entail, but I only half-focused on their words, catching things such as it basically being "a big sleepover", and how there would be "fireworks" and "s'mores". Mineta seemed to be adding in his own ideas of "fun activities", but I didn't want to extend the mental energy to understand it, knowing that all of his ideas were probably just ways to ogle at girls.
I glanced over to (F/N), seeing him wince a little from all the yelling, before he just covered his ears with his hands.
A smile came to his face a moment later, the hype of camping seeming to overpower the pain he was in.
"Hanging out with everyone all summer?!" Hagakure's voice caught my attention, and I looked over to see the invisible girl waving her arms in the air, if the way her sleeves were moving were any indicator. "I'm so excited!"
That was enough to make me let a smile come to my face. Toru's right! Hanging out with everyone will be fun...!
"However..."
The sound of Aizawa's voice made me return my attention over to my class's homeroom teacher, and I noticed that he had activated his Quirk for a second, making him look a little scarier than usual, before he returned to normal.
"Those of you who don't pass the final exam before the semester is over... will have summer school."
Kirishima and Kaminari immediately turned their attention to the majority of the class, the both of them with frowns of determination on their faces, and Kirishima raised one of his fists in front of him. So determined...!
