It was Friday, meaning i had a long day of work today.

Alex had left for work early this morning, she said it's something to do with the building, apparently there are technical issues going on.

I went to my closest and picked out a beige outfit, i wore a cream shirt, dark beige skirt along with my dark beige long coat.

I looked on my floor and found some low heels. Put them on and did my hair. I've straightened it this month, i liked the look.

I walked out the building and went straight to work, as i entered the elevator I got two emails, one from Charlotte and another from kaden.

I opened Charlotte's email.

Hello Naomi,

There's and new machine on the door, when you enter the top floor there will be a keypad. You must enter the code. 2670 to get into the top floor.

It's nothing exciting, it's a security matter and don't be late!

I bit my lip and opened Kaden's email, I'm wondering if he's as much of a dick in his emails as he is in person.

Naomi,

I'll need to speak with you in my office, you have a busy day today so I'd advise you to be quick. I'll be in my office and when you walk in you should see a credit card.

I'll tell you the pin when you enter the room.

I sighed and saw the elevator doors open, i walked into the building and saw the keys pad, i entered the code

the door unlocked and i walked into the office. Everyone seemed to be running around the building like headless chickens.

I squeezed past people ik ding onto my handbag and knocked on Kaden's door. No reply, i knocked again and heard no reply.

I let out a deep sigh and walked into Kaden's office, i saw him looked at a painting on his wall. I shut the door behind him and he turned to look at me.

"Good morning miss Smith, here is my credit card, the pin is 8678" he passed the card to me and i put it in my bag.

"May i ask what this is for?" I asked.

"You have a list of jobs for today, Sam will be with you today as everyone now knows you work for me from the incident in Miami" he looked at me.

I gulped and looked outside and saw the city, all the cars passing and the beautiful city.

"Charlotte will be joining you today" he smiled.

"What" I said quickly snapping out of my thoughts.

"Is that a problem?" He asked.

"N-yes it's- never mind" I sighed.

"The SUV is waiting for you outside the building" he said.

"Okay" i turned around and felt him pull me back by my hand, I let go of his hand and looked at him.

"You'll need these, it's quite hot outside" he smirked and moved a piece of hair from my face, I felt him put a pair of dark sunglasses over my face.
