The kids came back home after staying at my moms for a few days, I didn't want to confront her about her illness.

I'd finally put Zane to sleep but I needed Naomi to change Jayda while I mixed up the bottles for the babies.

"Naomi" I said looking for her, I had Jayda in my hands and I carried her into the bathroom, I saw Naomi on the floor with pills in her hands.

I gulped and saw how out of it she looked, I heard Jayda babble and I looked at her.

"Hey baby, daddy going to go look after mommy okay" I said, I ran to the crib and put her in it.

I saw my vision get cloudy and I wiped my eyes, I took my phone out my pocket and touched her face.

"Nai can you hear me" I said clicking my finger in her face.

"I took pills" she whispered and looked at me, I saw a single tear roll down her cheek.

I licked my lower lip and dialled 911, "it's going to be okay" I whispered, "everything will be okay?" I said to her.

She nodded and laid her head against the wall, "911 what's your emergency?" the operator said.

"Hi, I've got my my um friend here and she's taken pills, i-i don't know how many but I'm sure it's a lot" I said running my hand though my hair.

"Okay and what's your location sir?" She asked.

I gave her my address and she started typing away on the computer, I could hear the voices in the background.

I looked at Naomi who was slowly staring to fall asleep, "Nai" I whispered and opened her eyes.

"Okay an ambulance should be there shortly" she said.

"Okay thank you" I said ending the call.

I touched Naomi's face and heard Jayda crying, "Nai please wake up" I said, I heard Jayda's crying get louder and I groaned in annoyance.

"Daddy's coming soon Jayda" I said trying to stay calm.

I heard a door shut and I ran out the room, "MIA" I shouted.

"Yes kaden" she said, I saw her wearing a dress and she saw my crying, her facial expression immediately change.

"Kaden are you okay?" She asked.

"N-Naomi took pills and I think she's overdosed, I just need you to stay here and look after the twins, Jayda needs a diaper change" I said looking at Mia.

"Yeah yeah of course" Mia said walking into my room, she picked up Jayda and walked out the room.

I ran into the bathroom and saw Naomi with her eyes shut, I quickly ran to her and tried opening her eyes.

"just two minutes okay, hold on for me" I whispered. I looked at the pills on the floor and saw my old drug pills, the ones I used to take to go to bed properly so i could sleep.

I heard footsteps coming upstairs quickly.

I saw two doctors run into the room and they pushed past me, everything felt slow and I moved past them.

I saw them take out a machine from their bags and they shocked Naomi, I saw her body jolt and I gulped.

"We need to take her in" I heard the woman say, I saw them pick Naomi up and they went downstairs, I followed and they put her in the ambulance.

They shut the doors behind me and we drove off in the ambulance, I watched as they tried to shock Naomi again, her body jolted and I felt like I was frozen.
