I walked into the store and saw my mom on the floor with cans of beans around her, I looked at the store manager and saw him smiling.
"Hey what are you doing?" I said waking up to him, I helped my mom up.
"Tell this woman to pick these up" he said angrily.
"Don't talk to my mother like that" I said looking at him.
"Kaden" my mother said.
"Mamá, you okay?" I asked, she nodded and looked at the store manager.
"Yes go wait in the car" she said brushing herself off.
I looked up at the manager and he looked at me, "yeah go wait in the car" he said smirking.
"What was that?" I said confused.
"I'm talking to mommy, go wait in the car like a good boy" the manager said.
"You should shut the fuck up" I said angrily.
"Kaden, detener" (stop) my mother said angrily.
I clenched my fist and looked at him and saw him smirking.
"You need to leave" he said looking at me.
I looked at my mother and saw her nodding,
"And you you're fired" he said to my mother.I shook my fist and tried to stop myself from Ealing back and punching the shit out of him.
"Please Frank" my mother said.
"Out, leave and do not come back you dirty whore" he said to her.
That was my tipping point, he sounded just like my father.
I walked back to him and punched him in his face, "Kaden" my mother said angrily.
I looked at her and then looked away, I walked back to that car.
I woke up and saw Naomi cuddled up to my chest, I ran my hands through her hair and felt her move. I whispered little things into her ear to get her back to sleep.
I sighed and looked at my closet, it reminded me of when my father used to lock me in.
"Stay in there and don't come out" he said angrily.
"Father no" I said crying.
"Stay boy" he said angrily.
"Mark stop don't do this to him" my mother said.
"Mamá" I said crying.
"Go in" my father said throwing my in the closet, i hit my head against the wall and saw him shut the door.
It was dark and cold, I was scared.
It had a small hole in the door so I could still see my room, I saw Amy walk in and she looked around my room.
"What's this?" She said whispering to herself, I saw her looking through my books.
