"por eso no respondes mis llamadas" (that's why you don't answer my calls) she said tapping her foot on the floor.

"Mamá you have to knock" i heard Kaden groan, he removed his hands from me and I saw him pick his shirt up.

"No i don't, Mia let me in" she said with her arms crossed.

It felt like I had just been slapped in the face, i felt alone when he stopped touching me. I saw Kaden put his shirt on and his father walked in. "You're still messing around with her, after all I told you" his father said angrily.

I couldn't say anything, i didn't feel obligated to even speak. I bit my lip as i was anxious. "She was just leaving anyway, she doesn't mean anything to me father" Kaden said coldly. I looked at him and he looked at me with no emotion, his face was blank, nothing.

I grabbed my phone off the table and walked to the door, his father stopped me. "My son has no feelings for you, I mean you're the reason he almost killed himself, so do us all a favour and leave him alone, focus on your job" Mark said with a smirk.

I wanted to cry but i couldn't let them see me like that, i looked at Amanda who was looking down. I heard Kaden's mother speaking to him and i walked to the door. "Sí" i heard Kaden say, i shut the door behind myself and walked out the door.

I called Sam and sat on the sidewalk just past his house as i waited, i felt disgusting. How could i let myself think for even a second that he'd like me, I'm so stupid. Mark was right, i should do him a favour and focus on my job.

After ten minutes of thinking about what has just happened Sam arrived. I got in shutting the door behind me and saw Mia running towards the SUV. She opened the door and got in, I noticed she was in a hoodie and sweats. "Mia?" I asked wanting an answer to why she was here.

"Sorry, where are we going?" She asked.

"Um? to my apartment" i said, Sam drove off. "Mia what are you doing here exactly?" I said confused.

"Oh right" she smiled at me, "my father is so annoying, he's such a control freak, I mean no wonder Kaden turned out to be so heartless" she said rambling on.

"Why aren't you with them?" I asked.

"Well, they're control freaks and i need a break from the, hello ma'am what would you like to eat? Can i offer you a slice of cake? How many sugars would you like?" She said mimicking a posh person.

I laughed and she laughed with me."It's so boring, why can't they just say Mia you want cake? I'd say, yes waitress I'd love some fucking cake" Mia said smiling.

"When Kaden offers me food he says, Mia do you want food and i say yes, then he tells me i should order for myself cause I'm a pig" she laughed.

"He calls you a pig?" I said.

"Yeah but don't worry he's actually being nice, he gets bored of the yes ma'am and yes sir stuff too. If I'm honest i feel bad for him, he has so much pressure from dad" she smiled and looked up at sam.

"Hey Sammy Sam" she hummed. "You know Sam" i said shocked. "Do i know Sam" she smirked at me, "we definitely know each other" she said raising her eyebrows.

"What you two!" i said shocked. "Yup, multiple times and even when he was on duty for Kaden" she laughed.

"Mia!" Sam said laughing.

"No, Sam, we're in love" she looked at Sam and then at me, "but Kaden doesn't know and he won't" she smiled.

"You naughtily little girl" i laughed.

"It gets so boring being watched by security guards allllll the time and when a hot man like Sam walks in the room with a gun, you make your move" she laughed.
