I went home and called my mother.

"hola" (hello) my mother said.

"hi mamá," I said sitting on my bed.

"Todo está bien" (is everything okay?) she asked.

"yeah I'm fine mamá," I said.

"you sure," she said.

"mhmm" I replied.

"dime que pasa Kaden" (tell me what's up Kaden) she said.

"Okay, Naomi está embarazada" (Naomi's pregnant) I said laying back on my bed.

"QUE" (WHAT) my mother shouted.

"I don't want to talk about it on the phone," I said sighing.

"Okay I'm coming over and I won't bring your father you know how he is," she said and ended the call.

I sighed and put my phone down, I walked downstairs and saw Mia cooking.

"What you making?" I asked.

"Food clearly" she replied.

"What type of food sister" i said.

"Pasta" she replied.

"Don't you know how to make anything other than pasta?" I asked.

"Yeah but it's what I want" she said.

"Okay Mia" i rolled my eyes, "moms coming over" I said.

"What, why?" She said.

"I need to speak to her in person and you" i said looking down.

"You aren't looking at me meaning it must be important and please tell me dad isn't coming" she said.

"No he isn't coming" I said, I heard a knock at the door.

I walked to the door and answered it, I saw my mom with an angry expression and she walked inside.

"I can't believe you got her pregnant" my mother said.

"You got who pregnant?" Mia said.

"Naomi" i said to Mia.

"Oh my god I'm going to be an aunt" Mia smiled.

"Kaden when's she due?" My mother asked.

"I don't know but we're having twins" I said looking down.

"Mellizas?" My mother said.

"Sí mamá" I replied.

"Your father is going to kill you" my mom said.

"Mamá it doesn't matter he's finally having a family, he's been depressed for years" Mia said.

"I know but he'll go crazy" she said.

"So what?" I replied.

"So he'll go mad that's what" my mother said.

"Okay and I have other things to worry about, like my business" I said.

"Don't focus on the business Kaden, you're having a child" my mother said.

"Well I need something to keep my mind off of the two babies in Naomi" I said annoyed.
