Kaden had gone upstairs to his room to change. I saw a german shepherd run into the room and the dog started barking at me, I froze as it was a big dog. I noticed Kaden come downstairs and he was shirtless.
"Zeus sit" he demanded and the dog sat. Kaden put the hoodie on that was in his hand, he stooped down and played with the dog, he looked at me and smiled.
"sorry, he hasn't been trained fully yet" he looked at the dog, "have you buddy" he smiled at the dog.
"How long have to had him?" I asked, Kaden stood up and looked at his dog, and threw a ball down the corridor knowing Zeus would chase it.
"Two weeks now, he was rescued and nobody wanted him," he said putting his hands in his pocket.
"Why?" I said.
"apparently he's an aggressive dog" his smile faded and he looked at Zeus who was playing with the ball.
"and what do you think about him?" I asked and he looked at me and smiled.
"I think he's misunderstood," he said walking to the door, "come on," he said.
We drove to a park and sat on a bench."what are we doing here?" I said and saw Kaden light a cigarette and he looked at me as he took boxes out of his car, putting them on the bench.
"we're meeting new friends" he smiled and put his lighter in his pocket, I covered my nose as the smell was getting too strong.
"oh right," he said and stood up, he stood a distance from me as he smoked.
I saw a guy with two little kids walking towards us, two little boys. "why don't your security follow you" I asked.
"because I'd fire them plus they follow you because you're clumsy, either you'd fall and hurt yourself or you'd get kidnapped," he said putting his cigarette out.
the guy with two kids stood in front of us and smiled, "hello can we help you?" I said.
"wow, higher class people are still mean" the guy rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry about her" Kaden smiled and handed the guy and his two kids a box.
"what's in the box?" I said.
"food, water, and money" he smiled.
"and how much money are you putting in one box?" I said.
"two hundred," he said handing out boxes.
"so you're that rich," I asked.
"no, I'm kind, and it's not like I need the money...I live in a mansion" he smiled. "I'm the last person around here to need it" he smiled.
"so you aren't a stuck-up asshole" smiled.
"Nope," he laughed.
"so you-" he ignored me and got a phone call, "hello....well what do you mean he's here..... I told you to cancel my appointments for today no you come down here," he said angrily.
"excuse me miss, can I have a box?" the little kid smiled.
"oh yes of course" I smiled at him and passed him a box, I watched as he ran with the box towards his family. I'd finished handing out the majority of the boxes.
"we've got to go back to work," Kaden said blankly.
"Okay," I said fixing my hair.
We arrived at work and we waiting for the elevator to reach the top.
"are you going to change into a suit?" I asked.
"yes," he said bluntly and started typing on his iPad, the doors opened and we went to his office.
