2. Showcase

Jay's POV

As I arrived at my new apartment I unpacked some stuff. Found some stuff that I completely forgot about. Some wack stuff from my high school years. There were good memories and there were some bad memories. As he put down his beat-up tuner. I put my AirPods in and I put on timber by Pitbull. I started putting stuff away and dancing around the apartment like some lunatic.

I hope these cool people don't think I'm weird. Because I can be a little out of hand sometimes as I thought smiling.

This will be a fresh start for me. As I pulled my guitar out of my case and put it on the stand. This should be enough unpacking for the night. I grabbed my phone sat and played one of my favorite game, CSR 2. It involves cars. I ended up passing out after playing for a few minutes

Time skip

The next morning I woke up. Honey lemon knocked on my door and I answered it groggily. "Hi honey what brings you here"

"Morning Jay! You wanna come to the lucky car cafe to get some food?" Squealed honey and I said "sure why not, can't go wrong with food. I love food" rubbing my tummy. Give me the address and I'll drive there"

Honey replied "I can ride with you and I can point you there, it's showcase today. Thought we'd treat you out to wish you the best"

"Alright let me grab something," I said running as I tripped over a box "ah f**k"

Honey lemon laughed and I grabbed a little cube that involved my invention.

We walked outside and honey asked "where's your car?"

I said here as I pushed a button on the little cube that turned into a bright blue highly modded Kia Soul. It has a complete engine swap pushing out more power than the original. The car shined in the sun as it roared to life

"That's so freaking cool" squealed honey

"That's not all, you'll see the rest of what this car can do at the showcase later today," I told honey.

We drove off to the lucky car cafe, listening to beat it by Michael Jackson

"I didn't know you liked classics," said honey
"Heck yeah I do" I cheerfully said

My phone voiced "you have arrived to your destination"

"And I said well it looks like we're here," I said pushing a button on my dash that turned my car back into a small little cube.

As I walked into the cafe I was greeted by the group "good morning, Jay!"

"Good morning everyone" I replied back

A middle-aged woman appeared out of the front and asked Hiro "who's this Hiro?"

"Hey aunt Cass, this is Jay he's new to our school" Hiro replied

"Welcome Jay, you can call me aunt cass!" Aunt cass replied cheerfully

She seems like an awesome aunt, I wonder where Hiro's parents are they would seem chill.

"What would you like for breakfast," aunt Cass asked

"Whatever everyone else is havin I'm not picky" I responded

She walked away and started doing something in the kitchen then honey lemon went on screaming "OHMYGOSHGUYSISAWTHECOOLESTTHING"

Everyone raised and eyebrows and was like what are you talking about

Honey went on and talked about how I have a little cube that turns into a sweet ride and she also mentioned how I have another surprise for them at the showcase later on

Time skip

I thanked Aunt Cass for the breakfast and walked outside with my cube

"Behold one of my crazy inventions" as I pressed a button on my cube and it grew into a very shiny car

Everyone was wowed by the fact by how something so little can transform into a nice piece of art. The car roared to life

"Is that a stinger V6 I hear purring" Fred asked? And I replied "yep you are on spot"
"That's so cool" Fred yelled

Everyone said "I want to ride but this a small car"

I flipped a switch on the dash and the car transformed into a 7 seater Mitsubishi Outlander with Baja tires and a Chevy 454 purring under the hood.

Everyone cheered. And I said "hop in" the tires squealed as I stepped on the gas. And with a late response hold on to your underwear. Everyone laughed

I put on immortals by fall out boy not knowing this was Gogo's favorite song

Gogo screamed, "I love this song!"

Time skip

It was 5:30, the showcase was about to start. I had a car dyno in my area with my handy cube in my pocket set with the Kia Soul. No one knows about the suit that I created. The car has to be moving to transform so to cheat the system I have to use a dyno.

Everyone came by my booth and everyone questioned the dyno.

"What's this" honey lemon and hero jinxed
"JINX YOU OWE ME A SODA" Hiro yelled
Honey lemon just sighed.

I went in explaining the dyno and such and I didn't tell them the surprise yet. I noticed in the corner of my eye that Gogo was staring at me. It was kinda weird but I shrugged it off.

Hiro poked gogo "you good?"
Gogo snapped "YES IM FINE"

We all jumped and I was like Woah there. She's got an attitude. But she looks like she can also bend me like a tin can so I dare say anything as I thought nervously.

"Jake brown, it's your turn to show your invention" as everyone turned my way

As I pulled out my little note cards. Sweating. I started "today I'd like to show you something that could benefit anyone. Or anything." I pushed a button on my cube and a shiny blue Kia appeared "I call this Sam" as I got in the car I continued " all you see is an ordinary car basic blue family car" I started it up "well this ain't j I average car. This car is packed with performance modifications and a cool suit that could be used" I started driving the car on the dyno and once I hit about 70 miles per hour and flipped a switch and the car transformed into a suit a metal body armor "meet Sam she is your personal body armor or suit" everyone awed in amazement "this can do multiple things and can be for multiple purposes. Self-defense, police enforcement, military. This suit is completely bulletproof" I transformed the suit back to a car. "This also isn't just a suit it also can be like a personal assistant just like baymax" as I pointed back to Hiro where baymax was sitting there watching. I went in the car I pressed another button the car started driving by itself and transformed into a robot, "hello I'm Sam, you're assistant what can I do for you today" Sam asked. And I replied "wanna play basketballs and he grabbed a basketball and shot a hoop that was across the showcase room. "Sam. Isn't only a personal assistant" I continued. He can be a friend. As I've learned younger people come and go and you need someone to talk to and Sam was always there" Gogo shed a tear and Hiro was in awe of the idea and was whispering to baymax. Honey. Fred and wasabi were still in complete amazement. "Okay, sam you may return" Sam returned into a family crossover once again. "One more thing. You can program multiple cars in this" As I flipped a switch and the car transformed into the outlander." Everyone was still in shock I flipped the switch again. The car returned to the normal state and back to its cube. "This piece of equipment could eventually be a great thing in the future," I said as I put the cube back in my pocket and everyone cheered
