43. The Fixation

Jay POV.

The conversation with my dad was a good convo but I still can't grip on to what's happening I hop in my car. And drive to an old back road and decide to floor it. And the thoughts started trolling through my head

2,500 rpm launch. 1st

"You dumb idiot, why are you always doing better than me" hiro

7,100 rpm, 2nd

My car explodes because some idiot doesn't like me in his life.

7,100 3rd. The world was starting to slip away

Memories wiped from all my new friends just to be able to get everyone to forget about me. But two people were able to stand a chance. Gogo and Jason.

7,100 rpm, 4th. Nitro

You killed my family. My parents. And you're own brother because all you wanted was one pathetic person. 

7,500 RPM, 5th

World battle came about with monsters and Hiro asks for my help. And I end up losing an arm and Gogo. I saved her later on.

8,000 rpm slamming limiter. 6th.

Then I got trapped in a mini world called the grid and lost my marbles. If it weren't for amrik and Jackson. I wouldn't be in a position to be able to decide to live.

Hanging limiter, 8,000 rpm, 165 mph

I heard a voice in my head, "it's time to go Gogo. He's dead there's nothing else you can do" it was Hiro. "I can't leave him now," said Gogo. "It's pointless you left him multiple times enough. What changed?" Said Hiro.

I hit a tree in this world. And wake up in the hospital and get up and pin Hiro. "What changed? She realized that you were a nuisance, that you fucked with her head, and you told her damn lies to make sure that she wouldn't fall for me. You the problem here. Why don't you leave." I scream at Hiro. He looked like he saw a ghost. But what do you expect, I woke up from a brain-dead coma and pinned his ass. Gogo looks at me. "Jay, is that really you?" She asks. I examine her. She looks like she's been crying for days. Or even showered. "Yeah, it's me. How long have I been out." I ask. "Roughly 6 weeks," she says. I think to myself "I guess 10 hours there with my dad is 6 weeks here. Wack"

"Jay I'm so sorry..." she tries to say until I cut her off. "Cut the shit Gogo, I heard what you said. But if you mean what you say. You're going to have to prove yourself. As I still don't know what's right and what's wrong. As my head is jumbled." I say coldly. "Oh..." she says looking down. "Take a week and think yourself out, I'm probably going to be here for testing to make sure I'm ready to leave," I said. "But" I cut her off again. "Don't make me say it twice, Lieko" I bluntly say. She gets up and walks to the door and looks back at me. She cocks her head as if she's trying to figure out what happened to me.

Gogos POV

I don't know what's gotten into jay. But I'm getting worried and upset. It's been less than 15 minutes since he's come back and he's been rudely cold. What happened when he was away. I walk outside where amrik is sitting reading something on his phone. From a glance, it looked like it was "unOrdinary". Huh, seems interesting I'll have to look into that later. "Jays awake," I say. He jumped. "Oh is that right?" He shot back. And then looks at me. He gets up. "How is he," amrik asks. "He's been extremely cold. He even broke alive. And pinned Hiro for something he said." I cry. Embarrassing. I'm supposed to be a jackass to him. But I can't. He walks ahead of me. And enters the room. I stay outside to eavesdrop. "Thanks amrik for getting me out of there. I'm still not fully here mentally," Jay says. "Of course man, this a repay for you defending me in my fights and bullying sessions. And for helping me with the drama of my parent's divorce. It gets rough and you stayed," Amrik replies. My jaw drops, amrik was only defending jay because jays been there for his whole life. Make sense why he came at me. I start to feel bad. And I walk off to the lucky cat cafe.

3rd person POV.

Jay and amrik chatted for a good couple of hours. Catching up on old times. And helping jay to figure out what to do next. Soon a nurse walked in and asked amrik to leave. The doctors ran series of tests on jay for a week solid to make sure he was in a good state to make sure he had the pass to leave

2 weeks later...

Gogo pov

It's been a couple of weeks and I haven't seen jay. Amrik has been around. Getting close with everyone else except Hiro. I can't believe that he went on the grid from Tron. He managed to find a nice-looking girl. Huge props to him. I and amrik happened to become good friends. As I sit here lost in thought. I get tapped on the shoulder "you good?" It was amrik I popped my gum "yeah, I still haven't heard from jay. It's been a week now" I sighed. "That's understandable, he probably needed a break" amrik replied "hey amrik we gotta go" someone screamed across the room. "I gotta go. I and Sarina are taking a trip to Canada for a week. Catch ya later" amrik waves. "Well another day feeling lonely," I think to myself. Then this grey car appeared at the place out of nowhere. From the game, jay showed me. That looks like it's an rs6 avant. I sit staring at the far with its dark tinted windows For a good 30 seconds. And then someone gets out. Unrecognizably it was the jay. But he looked different. He was wearing a hat like usual. But it was a dark NF hat, I bright blue under armor t-shirt, and shorts. Weird for him.  He walks in. "What's up bubble gum," he says. Wow, it's been a while since he's called me that. As I pop my gum. "The same old thing on the daily." I sigh. "Where have you been?" I ask him. "I decided to take a road trip to Florida and enjoy the beaches there for a little. I needed some time to think. And I'm sorry that I treated you like a bitch a couple of weeks ago." He says "it's cool. It makes sense as of what Hiro has done. I myself haven't really been the smartest one." I reply. "Ah," he says. He chucks me a set of keys. I flip the key over and it was the keys to Sam. "I'd say let's hit the track and live up some good memories," He says "are you going to disappear this time?" He laughs "the last one to the track is a rotten egg" He runs off to his new-looking mom car. I run after him and the keys transform into Sam "let's go" Sam says. Seems like jay has done some upgrades to Sam. No more cubes. It's all engraved into the key. I get in and floor it leaving a trail of tire marks in the place where jay was. "Let's get this party started," I say as I switch gears
