Sheila pulled the break when she saw someone on the road. She lost control of the car. The car rolled over and over until it hit a tree.
"Oh lovely. The whole Richard Clan is here." Not very far away from Mystic Fall in an isolated house a teenager was surrounded by a coven of witches. The 18-year-old wasn't intimidated by the fact he was surrounded by one whole coven. "You killed our leader." One of the high witches shouted. The grey-eyed boy smiled not showing a single amount of guilt.
"Right. How did I kill him?" He beamed. "Oh wait. don't tell me. I remember. I stabbed him in the heart and killed him with vampire blood in his system. Then made him kill his... wait who was it? His daughter? Nah. Let me think. Yes. His mother. I made him kill his mother and siblings. Then I shot him with a gun. A very mundane way to die." The coven present was disgust by his way of showing no remorse. He seems like he really enjoyed it.
"Now. I would have let you go, like I did weeks ago. But right now, you are trespassing in my property for that disgusting creature. So, in my book you all are the same. And you all deserve the same fate." He grinned madly.
The coven joined hands and started to chant a spell. That made the boy laugh manically. He levitated into the air. He hurled a fireball at them. The witches were quick to use a shield spell which debounced the fireball at him. He caught it with his hand, and the fire melted into his hand.
His feet touched the ground. The smirk never left his face. "There is a reason why witches hate us. Because they know within the right hand, we are much more powerful than you." He smirked.
An orange glow engulfed his hand.
"What is happening?" One of the witches asked. Their defensive shields were being destroyed. A blood screaming hurl and the leader looked at his left to see one of the witches fallen dead. He looked at the boy.
"He is siphoning our magic." It send a shiver across their body. How can he siphon without touching them?
Siphoning has a limit. And right now, he has enough magic. A bit more would be fatal for him. so, he stopped siphoning and looked up to see half of the coven dead. Other half trying to run pass his barrier and others trying to destroy it so they can attack him.
