"I am sorry." She wasn't there for her daughters. That made her a bad mother. Why didn't she travel to a time before her daughters? Why didn't she pressure them to travel with her? If it wasn't her independent way, they wouldn't experience such a shitty life.
Caroline collapsed to the ground as she started crying.
Josie and Hope looked at each other when the room started to shake. "She is a witch?" Rebekah was shocked. "Wizard." Josie corrected. Hope quickly pulled a protection bubble around them to stop the little hurricane from hurting them.
"We need to reach out to her." Josie tried to go out of the bubble. But Caroline's magic was throwing everything around. The building was shaking, and they could hear the panic screams of other tenants in the building.
The door opened and Kiel showed himself. He looked around his eyes stopping on a crying Caroline. He pulled out his wand from thin air.
"Stupefy." The spell hit Caroline's back and she fell unconscious. The strong wind dropped. The whole apartment was a mess.
Hope quickly lowered the bubble and ran to check on Caroline. "She is unconscious. I can revive her, or she can take her own time to revive." Kiel sighed. "The quake wasn't that strong. But I think everyone in the building felt it." Kiel started to clean the place by using his wand.
"Should I re..."
"I will do it. Thank you, Kiel." They all were surprised to see Lizzie at the doorstep with Nikol behind her. Lizzie hasn't really agreed to the meeting. And they weren't expecting both of them to show up unannounced.
"Of course. It's good to see you." Lizzie smiled widely when Kiel said that. They haven't met since Kiel went into lockdown. "You too sweetie." Lizzie pulled him into a hug which Nikol joined. Kiel looked at Nikol properly. This is Nikol. The original one. With his soul fully intact.
"Wait in the apartment for us." Nikol told him. Kiel quickly nodded and ran away. This is the first time he meet Nikol properly.
"Long time, Mikaelsons." Nikol entered the apartment using his magic to continue Kiel's cleanup. "Is she Mom?" Lizzie asked as she levitated Caroline to the couch.
"Mom? Oh my god, where was she all this time?" Marcel was shocked. "In a box daggered." Nikol didn't hesitate to lie knowing the others wouldn't come up with something better. "She was out of control, so she volunteered to be daggered." Lizzie agreed. "Oh. She must love you both very much if she did it for you." Marcel said. "She does." Lizzie and Josie said at the same time.
"You all need family time, right? I'll go down to the bar." Marcel didn't need to confirm that. He knows his wife has a secret. The new blonde must be one of the secrets.
