Mystic Fall was getting ready for the decade dance. With Caroline out of Mystic Fall Josie and Kiel were the ones handling the dance committee. Both of them dancing to the tunes of Caroline and Lizzie Forbes.
The Mystic Fall group hasn't heard from Elijah yet. It's like he disappeared. And Klaus has been silent. No messengers and no death threats. They should be enjoying it, but it made the friends even more scared.
"So, witches believe in prophecies?" Kiel has made Salvatore House one of his homes after bringing a bag full of books about myths, legends, and prophecies. The gang was tasked with helping him find a prophecy of ending the world. So far there has been no success.
"Yes, Bonnie. But prophecies are just words until someone starts believing in them and acts." Kiel clarified.
"Here is one." Elena cleared her throat.
"One betrayed by own. One betrays own. One released from the cage. One shunned by own."
"Yeah, that's been fulfilled." Hope said bored. "How?" Bonnie was interested.
"It was about our family. My Uncle was betrayed by me. I betrayed my cousin. My father getting his powers unleashed. My Uncle was shamed for loving a widow." Hope remembered Nikol explaining the prophecy. But Hope also remembers the look on Kai's face as if he doesn't believe that's what it is about.
"Then it's not fulfilled yet. Your Father hasn't unleashed his full power yet." Klaus isn't a hybrid yet.
"Also, Your Uncle getting betrayed by you and you betraying your cousin is like the same thing. One gets betrayed by own. This prophecy talks about 4 people. 4 different people." Kiel was all of a sudden interested in the prophecy.
"Does it have to be connected to your family?" Damon asked. "Yeah. My grandmother and one of Bonnie's ancestors who was like an Aunt to us were the ones given the prophecy. There are like several of them. One we are sure is yet to fulfil." Hope told them.
"Your family. Do they have more members?" Stefan asked trying to think of something. "Right, you said you have a cousin who has walked away from you." Kiel tried to calm his heartbeat. This isn't about the Mikaelsons only. But the travellers too. Which also involves him. But more than that he tried to forget about the vision he saw.
"You think this is about him and his new family?" Josie asked Kiel. "It could be. Or it could be you and Lizzie too. I mean you are all a family in a sense." Kiel told them.
"Bex betrayed my father by calling Mikael to New Orleans. Or she snitched about Kol and the dagger." Hope started to realize that Nikol was wrong.
"Lizzie was betrayed by me when I cut off our twin link knowing she is in danger." Josie said slowly.
"And my father will find a way to unleash his power. One released from cage." Hope said.
