Noir Mansion

Oak Town

Caroline was excited when Lizzie told her that they would be having a movie night. Rather than watching a movie, they will be watching video dairies.

When Caroline arrived, the others had settled down in the movie room. Caroline who haven't had a tour of the house was pleased with the room. Rather than a normal movie theatre, it is a big room with a large screen. Sofa beds and bean bags fill the floor. Secret snack and drink drawers in the fridge each one of them was munching on something or drinking blood.

Squeezing Rebekah in the middle Josie and Hope were having a great time. Kol patted the empty seat next to him and Caroline happily made her way there. But what surprised him was Klaus being cuddled by Nikol and Lizzie. Or mostly Lizzie who was whining to him about something. Nikol was lost in his phone while Klaus's face said he wanted to be anywhere but not here. Kayden was cuddling the new addition whom Nikol was babysitting for the time. Noah looks comfortable in his arms.

Caroline was happy that the girls were now together. Rebekah and Kol aren't on speaking terms, but Kol couldn't be angry at his daughter and niece for too long. Especially when Lizzie vouched for them.

"What are we watching?" Caroline asked excitedly. "Wedding diaries." Rebekah announced happily. Caroline clapped her hands excitedly reaching out to hold Josie's hand.

1944

Lizzie opened the camera and did a 360 video showing the bridal makeup room of the magical tent. Josie's dress was on display with her accessories.

"Hi, Mom. It's me, Lizzie. I mean I know you can tell. Anyhow we are currently in Mystic Fall Woods. Josie went to wash her face and suddenly I remembered that even though the world doesn't have the technology, we have it. So here I am recording all this for you."

Lizzie turned around when she heard a shuffling behind her. She smiled brightly and then nodded at someone to join. In seconds Josie was behind her, placing her chin on Lizzie's shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Josie asked. "Recording everything for Mom." Lizzie said watching Josie from the camera. Josie's face brightened. "I love that. Thank you." She kissed Lizzie's cheek. "Here. Say something. I'll get the makeup ready." Lizzie gave the phone to Josie and disappeared behind the camera.

Josie stared at the camera in silence for a few minutes. She then smiled with tears in her eyes.

"When he proposed I wanted to say no. This is 1944 and it is ages away from your return. I didn't want to get married without you. It's my first marriage and I want... I need you here. But that is not possible. And I know I couldn't wait any longer without making him mine. Mom... he is the best. For him, it is always me. Never anyone else. And for the first time, I met someone who loves Lizzie like I do. Who accepts Lizzie too. Well, Lizzie introduced us. But Mom..." Josie chuckled. "I don't have words to describe how much I love him. Does that mean it is true love?" Josie asked dreamily.
