There was a knock on the door. I pushed him off me and scrambled to my feet.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Uhh," he checked his watch. "1:30 AM." He ran his hand through his hair.
I knew exactly who.I stalked off towards the door rubbing my forehead. I peeked through the window.
"Yurp. Exactly who I expected." I mumbled under my breath. I unlocked the door and opened it not even looking outside. I went back to the couch where Michael was sitting and sat on the rug beside his feet. We both looked towards the door.
"He.." Her jaw dropped when she looked towards our direction. She clutched her bag tightly.
"Stop hogging the entrance Lulu." And she Stopped to look to where Michael and I was. Her jaw dropped also. I rolled my eyes.
"No. fucking. Way." Gina said slowly. She poked Lucy in her side.
"Did we miss something?" Lucy's voice was a tad too squeaky.
"What are you two talking about?" I laughed.
"The figure sitting on the couch." Gina folded her arms across her chest.
"Ohhh. Michael. I guess he was bored and he popped by, can't a friend visit sometimes." I rolled my eyes.
"One , since when he bacame 'friend' and two, do you know what time it is?!?" Gina looked at me.
"Said the person entering my house at 12 in the morning. And the 'friend', That's a long story, now come have a sit." I patted the couch.
They looked nervously at each other.
"Seems like I'm the one who's missing out." I gaped at them.
"Wellll. Not really. We just brought company tonight." Lucy played with her finger.
"Oh what the hell, that means we're even now." I threw my hands in the air. "Besides only Paul and Michael are the only person's here who haven't slept over."
Lucy clapped her hands and skipped back outside. Gina rolled here eyes.
"So where mom and dad?" She casually asked as she waited in the hallway.
"Trip." I shrugged and struggled to my feet.
"Upstairs, basement, here or on the roof?" She chuckled.
I grabbed one of the bags from her, "we could put the boys on the roof you know." We both laughed. "Let's head upstairs."
"Need help girls?" Michael smirked.
"Nope. We're good just tell Lucy we're upstairs when she gets back." I followed Gina upstairs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There's totally something going on between the two of you." She slammed the door behind me, and folded her arms over her chest. "So, are you going to tell me or do I have to find out?"
"We got nothing." I rolled my eyes.
"OK." She unfolded her arms and headed downstairs.
Did she just give up soo easily!? OK I'm doomed.I arranged the bags. As I was heading out Lucy came in followed by Samson and Paul.
"Did you guys plan on staying the week?!" I looked at their bags.
"Lol uhhh no." Lucy walked past me placing her bag down. Paul and Samson exchanged glances. I gave them a sympathetic smile and headed downstairs.
I was stopped in my tracks when I saw Gina interrogating the poor boy.
"So tell me, Michael. What's it going on between you and Tami?" She cocked her head to one side.
"Well," he shifted uncomfortable under her gaze. "Ummm what exactly do you want to know again?"
"Are you two dating?" She asked a bit more sternly.
"I want to but...."
"But what!?"
"Would you let me finish?"
"Well answer faster."
"Anyways, I want to but she doesn't want to."
"I would understand why." She scoffed.
"What do you mean by that?" He said defensively.
"Ohh Michael. Who doesn't know you?"
"Ohh please I don't want to play Tami. She's different."
I heard the others were coming downstairs and I didn't want them to think I was eaves dropping.
"Soo who's hungry?" I ran into the living area. "Gina can I borrow you for a sec?" And ran into the kitchen.
She strolled into the kitchen smiling.
"What the hell are you doing?" I searched the cupboards.
"Getting the answer that I didn't get from you." She searched as well.
"By interrogation?"
"What's the argument about?" Lucy skipped in looking confused.
"Tami's boyfriend." She pulled out two boxes of Mac and cheese.
"Not my boyfriend." I pulled down a pot and a sauce pan from the cabinet.
"Michael? Did I miss something?" She sat on the counter.
We both sushed her.
"Keep your voice down." I Whispered.
"Sorry." She covered her mouth. "So what's wrong with Michael dating Tami. He's not that bad." She looked at her nails.
"He's a player. That's what's wrong." Gina glared at her.
"But it takes one special girl to touch a player's heart. You know hold him down." Lucy smirked.
Gina nodded in agreement.
"Ummm hello don't I have a say in this?" I lit the stove under the pot of water.
They looked at me and blinked.
"So why not give him a chance?" Lucy said softly.
I paused as I opened the can of corned beef.
"Are you thinking about it?" Gina stepped towards me.
I felt a warm tears trail down my cheek. Gina and Lucy came around and hugged me.
"I'm just soo afraid." I sniffed.
"Waw, Tami afraid. Since when?" Gina giggled.
"Well he hit you like a wrecking ball." Lucy sang out and we all burst out in laughter. And I dried my eyes.
"Worry not my dear girl," Gina cracked her knuckles, "if he messes up, we got this."
"I love you guys. Now can someone pass me the onion."
