I walked out of the locker room. Wow! Leaving him behind, I let out a breath which I was holding while he was so near to me. Why does he have that effect on me?

The girls had left the school already, almost everyone left the school already; it Friday! The hallways were practically empty. Just a few stray teens and couples. Typical Friday.

I finally got to the parking lot and slid into my car. I checked my phone to avoid me texting and driving. And I got a text from my mom.

Honey, you're dad and I will be out whole weekend. Am sorry for the late notice but your dad just dropped the bombshell on me. I love you. Enjoy your weekend.

I rolled my eyes. Dad really needs to stop doing this stuff. I turned my in key in the ignition. Music filled the air, 'animal' by maroon 5. With that I drove off.

When I got home, a wave of loneliness washed over me. The girls were out with their date, even my parents left me for god sake! I went straight upstairs to my bedroom and then went to take a quick shower. I slipped on a black booty shorts and a red top to match. I slid on a pair of black and red stripped knee length socks and headed downstairs.

I slumped on the couch. "What should I do now?" I threw my head back, "popcorn and movies?" I got up, "yes! Now why am I talking to myself?!" I grabbed the remote and switched on the TV.

I skipped to the kitchen and slid a popcorn in the microwave. I sat on the counter as I waited and checked my phone. No texts. Checked my Facebook; 29 friend requests, 100 messages and 250 notifications. I ignored them and just scrolled through my need feed. Pfft only gossip. The doorbell rang. Who the hell could that be? My usual instinct would just ignore it and carry on with life since I expected no one, but something pushed me to go open the door.

I opened the door and to my surprise Michael stood there. Slam the door in his face!!! I ignored that thought.

"Hi." He stood there nervously.

"What are you doing here?" I leaned on the door.

"Why you gotta be so mean to me? Can't a friend say hi?" He pouted.

"I'm not mean. I just wanna know why you're here." I laughed.

"Can I come in?" He asked irritated.

"Ok, come in." I scoffed and allowed him in.

"Thank you." He entered.

"Did I have much of a choice. Close the door behind you." I stalked of to the kitchen where the microwave beeped indicating that my popcorn was ready.

I returned to the living area. "Now my question again; why are you here?" I stood in front of him.

His mouth was open as he looked at me.

"Hello!" I snapped my fingers in front of his face.

"Oh am sorry; I'm here cause I came to see you." He shrugged as he sat down on the couch.

"Oh really, don't you know it's Friday?" I sat down beside him and put the popcorn on the tea table.

"Am not here for work like really?" He rubbed his forehead.
