I looked up at the clock, 11:55, just five more minutes till I'm finally finished, highschool that is. Still an accomplishment, I made another glance through my papers and made sure, that I left out nothing. This was my zone, computer science.

"All pens down!" The invigilator shouted. "Please ensure that names are on top of the papers!"

I let my pen fall on the table, and leaned back and looked at Kyle who was blankly staring at nothing. Wonder what's up with him, wait no, I know exactly what's up with him. I waited for my papers to be collected and I got up, leaving the examination room. I inhaled deeply, I can taste the victory, I have full confidence in my exam results especially this last one. I waited as kyle exited the exam room. "Hey, what's going on in there?" I tapped his head.

He brushed me off, oh damn, he must really be out of it.

"Bro, seriously, what's wrong?" I cut in front of him, making him stop.

"Nothing."

"Lacy." I corrected him. "What's up with you two anyways?"

"Nothing's up." He briefly stated.

"So, there's 'nothing' going on?" I put emphasis on the nothing.

"Geez, man." He pulled me into an empty hallway and looked around. "Look, we have been doing the friends with benefit thing." He raked his hand through his hair.

"So why so flustered?" I kinda got the concept but I wanted confirmation.

"I want more now." He punched a nearby locker.

"Woah calm down." I fought to hide a threatening smirk. "Well tell her that."

"No. Every time I even bring up a topic of relationship she laughs or blows it off." He huffed

"Sounds like someone I know." I eyed him cautiously earning a glare.

"Once, I asked her how she feels after we fucked, she said nothing, I'm just her friend with benefits."

"Hmm, female player much."

"And it's fucking frustrating! why can't she be like other girls!?"

"Cause you'd just fuck her and leave."

"Yeah true, but she drives me crazy!"

"Have you ever told her how you actually felt towards her?"

"Who are you man?"

"Bro, I've been in a serious relationship, for months, it changes you."

"And no, I've never told her."

"How well do you know her?"

"Umm idk."

"What's her name?"

"Lacy, duh."

"That's a first, you remember a girl's name." I shrugged. "You know what, tell her how you feel, anytime you feel is right and ask her out." I put my finger under my chin. "Wait, no, get to know her, ask her out and then tell her how you feel. Yeah that's about it."

"Tell her? Nah, I can't even think straight around her."

"Bro, you will when the time is right."

"Okay, you've really changed." He punched my shoulder playfully, "let's go grab something to eat." We walked out into the crowded hallway. "So what's up with you and Tami though?"

Tami and I haven't spoken since the party, I'm just not up for it. I don't want to think of our separation, she's my world. "We're alright."

"I know about the college thing, I'm not dumb. You're running away from your problems again."
