Michael looked at me as we sat in the car. I stared blank out of the window; I honestly don't know why I just sat in his car, I mean, we already pulled into my driveway.

"I'm not keeping you here." He looked the other way as though he could read my thoughts.

"I never said you were."

"Your body language says it." I gasped. "Yes I can tell; I've been through that." He turned to look at me.

"Expected." I mumbled and turned to look out the window.

He held my chin and turned my face towards him, and before I knew it his lips were on mines. He took me by surprise. My mouth opened to his wanting tongue, and it entertained with mine.
We were both breathless when he pulled away. He pressed his forehead against mine.

"You don't have any idea, how much strength it takes to control my self around you." He was catching his breath.

"Then don't." I thought out loud enough for him to hear me, it was barely a whisper.

He looked up to look at my reaction. He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath.

"You don't want that Tamika."

"Yes I do. And I have a nickname."

"So do I."

"Yeah, I can tell, jerk-"

"Don't." He said through gritted teeth, and amazingly I shut up; only one guy that can accomplish that and he's no other than my dad. "Maybe you want it, but I don't."

I looked at him surprised. Is he saying he doesn't want me? He begs to be my boyfriend, and now he doesn't want me? I opened the door and stormed out of the car slamming the door behind me. I heard him do the same.

"Tami!" He ran after me. "Tami!"

"What!" I stopped aburptly, he almost bumped me over.

"Why the fuck are you angry!?" He tried grabbing for my hand, but I flung my hands away.

"I'm not fucking angry!"

"Yes you are you're shouting at me!!! For what??! I don't even know!!"

I folded my arm arms across my chest and looked away.

"Baby, please come down, I don't wanna argue. Tell me what's bothering you. What did I say?" he said softly. "Please."

"Did you mean you don't want me?" I looked in his eyes.

"No,no,no. That's not what I meant; I meant you're pure and different, if I didn't want you, I won't have tried to be your boyfriend. And I don't want to rush into that." He took a step closer and grabbed my waist. "Tami I want to make this the best relationship we both ever had. I love you." He tilted my chin to look up to him.

"I understand." I sighed, "I'm sorry." I flung my arms around his neck, and kissed him.

"We got school tomorrow and I gotta get some work done. So I'll text you?" He gave me a chaste kiss.

I nodded and smiled.

"Ok, Tami. I don't wanna leave but I have to." He pulled away from me.

"Goodnight." He watched as I made my way to the front door.

He blew me a kiss. I rolled my eyes but sent one back. As soon as closed the door behind me. I heard the his car engine start and he pulled out of the driveway.

"How was your weekend honey?" My eyes grew wide.

"Mom?" I walked to the kitchen.

"Oh, it was fun. I missed you soo much." I hugged her. "Where's dad tho?" A wicked grin grew on her face.
