Unexpected First Love

Chapter 13 - Newbie

I looked at my digital clock on my dresser, 4:30 am. I woke about 2:30 am to finish up some work.

When I came home, I took a hot shower and went to sleep right after. Now I'm here, finishing up my English essay and my math homework which I started on Thursday. Thank God.

My phone vibrated. I picked it up and looked at my screen. A text from Michael.

Mickey: hey are you up?

You: yes I am apparently. Why are you up so early?

Mickey: studying now, just finished up some homework. I'm guessing you're doing the same.

You: not studying. Essay and math hwk

Mickey: good luck Good morning tho .

You: you as well Good morning, see ya l8r .

I put down my phone and continued my work. I finally finished at 6:25 am.

"OK, I'm just gunna take one hour of sleep." I told my self before switching off my lamp and fell asleep a few minutes after.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I used my hand to search for the alarm clock. Finally, I found it. I squinted my eyes as I looked at the clock. 7:25 am.

I forced myself off the bed and crawled to the bathroom, yes crawled. After doing my normal hygiene practices, I slipped on a Peach sun dress and a sandals to match. I ran downstairs to the kitchen. These are the times I missed my mom, I just had to grab and go, but today I grabbed a Welches soda and large bag of cheetos. After school I'll go buy pizza or something.

I rushed out the house.

"Damn the keys." I ran back to the house and grabbed my keys off the kitchen counter. I ran back outside, time locking the door behind me. I headed to my car.

I slid in a speedily pulled out of the driveway and sped of to school.

"Tami! Tami!" My head whipped into the direction which the voice came from.

Lucy and Gina ran towards me as I entered the the school from the back. I looked at them as if they've lost their minds. My first option was to walk away faster, but for them to be running was either, new information or a sale.

"One, omg I love your outfit." Gina said breathless. I realized we all work the exact outfit, just that Lucy wore orange and Gina wore a pale red.

"And two, you're just in time." Lucy grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the closest window.

"What am I looking for?" I had no clue.

"Just look." Lucy said.

We watched as a black Bugatti with purple strips pulled into the school's parking lot. The car door opened and a girl stepped out and turned around.
