~Tamika~
The days have gone by so quickly. Michael and I haven't spoken since the last time we spoke, and that was the day before the trip. I've been accepted into Harvard, like I've been working for this. I've also been chosen to be valedictorian. My mom and dad are so proud and I am of myself also.
Studying has been my main focus, since exams are just around the corner, then there's graduation and prom. The girls and mom has been working on the prom queen campaign, I just choose to play along. It Friday and mom practically kicked me out of the house. So Lucy, Gina, Lacy and I are at the mall. No boys, just us girls. I haven't spent much time with the girls either lately.
"Ohhh, this dress is so cute." Gina grabbed a dress and pressed it up against her body.
"Well go try it." I sat next to Lacy.
Lucy was looking at some more clothes. Gina went in to try it on.
"So Lacy, do you have plans for after here?" I turned to her.
I don't know her so well, so I'm really cautious of the questions I ask. I know for a fact that out of the rest of the girls, she's got a characteristic similar to mine. So I'm kinda getting around her.
"I don't know." She honestly answered.
"Ahhh, so what's up between you and Kyle?" She visibly soften at his name, not the she was tense but still.
"Nothing." She said casually, shaking her head.
"Hmm." I looked at her as I slurped my vanilla shake, she laughed.
"Sooo." Gina came out of the dressing room, with a pretty pink dress.
"Waw, you look great." Lucy came into view.
"May I ask, what are we shopping for again?" I asked.
"Prom." They all said, even Lacy.
"Now you guys tell me." I glared at them and they shrugged. "Anyways, I'm not wearing pink, you guys, with the exception of Lacy knows I hate pink."
"Sorry." Gina and Lucy said in unison.
"So what's our color?" Lacy asked.
"Umm orange." Lucy suggested.
"No." We all said.
"Green." Gina interjected.
"No." We said again.
"Purple?" Lacy asked.
"No." We again said.
"We need something, outstanding." We all sat and thought about it.
"Neon colors." We all said looking at each other. "Yes." We laughed.
"I call dibs on red." I shouted.
"Of course you do." Gina smirked.
"Does it even have neon red?" Lucy asked.
"I don't care." I grinned, "I know Lacy is gonna have purple."
"Sure am." She gave me a high five.
"We're basically gonna wear our favorite colors, in neon." Lucy smiled.
"Exactly." Gina beamed.
"Okay, enough chit chatting; are we going to get pizza now?" I asked.
"Tami, you're always hungry." They all laughed.
"But we have to get an outfit for you for tonight." Lucy blurted out.
"Why?" I quirked a brow.
"Because, we're going out tonight." Lacy said quickly.
