~Michael~
I think I'm gonna lose it if I stay without talking to Tami while she's with McDead. I just don't like the guy. I can't have my phone on during the tour. The tour I'm not paying attention to, it's about anatomy and stuff to do with the body.
Whatever! I can't concentrate. Six long hours of touring and all I could think about is Tami with that guy, it burns. It was finally time to eat food instead of snacks. I was hungry but I wasn't feeling the hunger, I ate anyways.
I must admit, the food tasted heavenly, too bad it's scrumptious taste was not persuading enough to keep Tami of my mind for too long. The day was tiring and now it has ended. I'm tired as fuck, as soon as I got in the limo, I grabbed my phone and turned it on hoping for a text or missed calls from her. I think this is the longest time my phone has taken to come on. Now it comes on, all of the sudden, it began searching.
For what?! We're in the city for heavens sake, this is not the time for this shit. The signal finally came, there was no texts, neither missed calls from her, there were a few from unknown number but that doesn't count. I speed dialed her number, waiting in anticipation as it rang, but it just went to voicemail. I just hung up and nearly slammed the phone on the floor, but I just let it slide on the seat instead.
I pinched the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes, trying not to let my anger get the best of me. When I opened them I stared out the window, trying to direct my thoughts to the twilight sky. It was a hella long ride home, but we've arrived. The driver opened the door and I stepped out. I shook his hand and thanked him before heading to the door.
It's good to be home, I keyed the door and opened it. Walking in, I locked it and closed it and walked over to the kitchen. I encounter my mom who was wearing her pajamas and putting a popcorn into the microwave.
"Hey mom," I walked over to the fridge to grab a soda before going to kiss her cheek. "What's up?"
"Hey Mickey how was it?" She beamed up at me, taking a seat on a stool along the kitchen's isle.
Seeing happy just uplifted my evening.
"It was great." I technically told the truth, since it was really great, I just couldn't focus on all of it's greatness. "Where's dad and Max?"
"On the couch," the microwave beeped, "we're about to watch Home, you can join if you like." She got up and walked over to the microwave.
"I'll think about it." I took a gulp of soda. "Mom do you have the home number for Tami?"
"Don't you have it Michael?" She poured the bag of popcorn into a large bowl.
"Uhhhh, I'm not sure. Can you just please give it to me?" I handed her my phone.
"Okay." She took it, tapping the screen. "Oh, I love your wallpaper." She cooed handing it back to me.
"really mom, thanks tho." I stored the numbed in my phone.
"Oh by the way your letter came." I was about to put my hand in her popcorn bowl, but she slapped my hand away. "Go wash you hands!"
"Go wash your hand." I mocked as I walked over to the sink to wash my hands.
"Did you hear what I said?"
"Mom, aren't I washing my hands."
"Before that."
"Yeah, my letter-" it dawned on me as I said it, I sipped my hands in a paper towel then throwing it in the bin. "Where is it?"
"Ask your father." She was walking to the living room with the popcorn.
