Outbursts

*Rowan's POV*
The ride home from the hospital felt like the longest car ride ever. I swear we hit every single red light. I just wanted to go back to the house and fall asleep. I had a splitting headache and my ankle hurt like the devil himself. I moaned softly a few times, but I didn't want to get Ashton going. What felt like hours later, we pulled into the driveway of the summer house. Ashton got out of the driver seat and came around to the passenger seat to help me out.

"Come on, sweetie, we're home" He whispered. He unbuckled my seat belt and picked me up."Put me down, Ashton" I said to him. "No, no angel, let me carry you" He insisted. "Now." He nodded and put me down. "Rowan, I'm really sorry." He said just loud enough for me to hear. "Psh, no you're not" "I am"

"This is what you wanted! You tripped me and made me jack up my ankle, you idiot!" I snapped. My heart pounded. I had never been more angry in my life. "ROWAN I SAID I WAS SORRY SO JUST SHUT UP" He yelled at me. "NO YOU SHUT UP! YOU HAVE HAD IT OUT FOR ME EVER SINCE YOU GOT EXPELLED" I screamed with tears in my eyes.

"YOU ARE THE WHOLE DARN REASON I GOT EXPELLED YOU IDIOT" he yelled back. "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten kicked out of my house for three months. I hate you way more than you think you hate me. I can't believe I used to love you. You have no idea how broken I am, do you?" He said.

"Well I sure don't know, and I never want to. I couldn't care less about you, Irwin" I shrieked. I approached him fast and smacked him in the shin with my crutch. "AH!" he yelped. "SEE HOW IT FEELS, YOU JERK!" I screamed, a few tears streaming down my face.

"Guys what's going on?!" Luke said, rushing out into the yard. "Rowan, did you just hit him? Why did you do that?" "No, it was my fault, mate" Ash argued. "Rowan, come to bed" Luke said, picking me up and carrying me inside and up to my bedroom.

He helped me put on my pajamas and laid me down in bed, putting the blankets over me. I pulled them over my head and began to sob. "There there, Ro. It's okay. Stop crying, you'll make your headache worse, darling" Luke said, rubbing my back. "Please don't cry"

"Why are you friends with him? Look what he did to me!" I said, crying harder. "I've known him for a long time. He's my best friend, besides you. He's been through some difficulties, but you don't just bail on someone because they're struggling. I promise he has feelings, he just refuses to share them with anyone." Luke said, stroking my hair.

"I never want to talk to him ever again." I said. "You'll forgive him eventually" Luke said, getting up, turning off the light, and shutting the door. I laid in bed, crying until I finally dozed off into a light slumber.

*Ashton's POV*
I sat on the couch, rubbing my shin, which was now badly bruised. "Wow she hit you hard!" Michael said, bringing me some ice. "What did you do to her?" He asked. I shook my head and put the ice on my shin.

"She hates you, man" Luke said walking down the stairs. "You guys know how I feel about her" I said. "Well noramaly when you love someone, you don't mess up their ankles" Calum stated. "I know, I know. I didn't mean for her to be hurt so badly." I said, feeling more and more guilty by the second. What's wrong with me?

"I don't understand why she can't just give me a chance." I whimpered. The boys shrugged their shoulders. I got up, and went upstairs. I entered, Rowan's room. I sat on the edge of her bed and stroked her cheek. She was fast asleep. I watched silently as her chest rose and fell slowly.

"Rowan, I am so so sorry for hurting you. I am a jerk, just like you said." I whispered. "I know that you hate me,and you'll never love me, and I understand, but it hurts. I just want to hold you close and call you mine. I want to be in love with you and be with you forever. If coming in your room and pouring my soul out to you is the only way I can ever talk to you without you running away, I'll take it. I'm in love with you."

I kissed her forehead and left the room.
