Kacey's pov:

I got a text from Max:

Hey can we talk? Come to the park

Okay - I texted back.

I went to the park and saw Max waiting by a tree.

"Hey," I greeted him as I walked towards him.

"Hi," "Harvey told me what happened," I just nodded.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"About what?"

"Harvey,"

"Yeah, I'm fine,"

"I thought you said you don't like him,"

"I don't but I didn't know he would be this hurt,"

"I think he's just a bit suprised,"

"Yeah,"

"So......" he started to say.

"So what?"

"So what about us?"

"What about us?"

"What do we do?"

"I don't know,"

"Well you said you like me,"

"And I do,"

"So do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked me the question.

I thought about the answer before saying, "Yeah," putting a smile on his face.

*Little time skip*

"So you're with Max?"

"Yeah," I told my best friend.

"Do your parents know?"

"No! They'd never let me be with Max,"

"So you're gonna keep it a secret?"

"Yes,"

"But what if they find out?"

"They won't,"

"Okay," and I spent the rest of the day thinking about whether I should tell my parents.

*Another time skip*

I was asleep, when I heard my phone ringing, I answered without checking who it was.

"Hi?"

"Hi, are you awake?" It was Max.

"No, I was asleep, but you've woken me up!"

"I'm sorry but let's go for a walk,"

"Max it's 2am,"

"What better time?"

"Ugh, fine I'm coming," I put on a shirt and some leggings and snuck out of the house,

"Hey," Max kissed me on the cheek.

It was very cold outside, I started shivering and Max noticed.

"Here, have my jacket," he put his jacket on me despite my efforts telling him I was fine.

"So where we going?"

"You'll see," Max smirked and took my hand in his and we walked throughout the streets and up a hill. When we reached the top of the hill, I saw a blanket laid out and the most magnificent view of the moon and the stars.

"Wow, Max I love this," I told him as we sat down on the ground and under the blanket.

"Do you like it?" He asked me as I was just resting my head on my shoulder.

"Like it?! I love this Max!" I told him making him smile. Damn, his smile.
"Who knew you were such a romantic?"

"I guess you bring this side of me out,"

"Me?"

"Yeah, you're the best thing to ever happen to me, you bring out my good side, when I'm with I'm like a different person, and I want to be like that all the time, Kacey, I love you,"

"I love you too, Max," I said and kissed him, the kiss full of pure passion and love for Max, my Max.
