With every ticking second that passed the couple were growing more grey hairs by the amount of stress they were under. It seemed like Faye was taking years to response to them.

"Um..." her steady tone was mumbled through her pillow as the couple moved closer to one another placing their hands together.

They could feel their nervous heart beating from the tips of their fingers to the tips of their toes. Their entire beings were being tested.

"So...what do you think Faye?" Lain asked in hopes of being able to receive an answer any quicker.

But by how long it was taking the girl to respond, the woman gulped harshly and yet her throat hadn't felt more dry. "You know if you're not ready for this you can just say so." She said trying not to lay her broken heart out on her sleeve as she did so.

"No!" The girl popped up from her pillow in an effort to stop the woman. But as she emerged from the safety of her pillow, the couple could now see the girls clear flushed face. She looked as red as a cherry. "I mean...no."

Mallix could feel a strong wind of hesitation coming from her. And as much as it hurt both him and his wife, they didn't want to burden the girl with their own desires. "Faye really it's alright if you don't want to do this, we understand that it's not something that-"

"-but I want it!" She cut in muting the man in an instant. "I want it." She repeated softly as her cherry red face was decorated in water droplets. Dripping down her cheeks, Faye's tears were freely falling into her lap.

But just when she was about to bury her face back into the safety of her pillow, instead she found her face being gently brought into the woman's chest.

Wrapping her arms firmly around the slightly shaken up girl, Lain and Mallix held her dearly as they let their own tears silently fall.

"What's the matter honey?" Mallix asked as he placed a kiss onto her head.

"I..." Faye was nervously trying to sink further into the safety of the woman's chest but she was already as close as she could possibly be. "I wanted this." She admitted. "But I was scared you weren't ready for it." Her weeps became sobs and before they knew it the poor girl in their embrace was melting in tears.

"We were always ready for this Faye. You knew we've only had eyes for you. There isn't anyone else that we would've ever wanted to be in our family but you." Lain comforted as her silent tears were no longer silent.

Letting her emotions hit her the hardest tonight, she wept with pure excitement.

Nothing could beat this feeling.

"I guess we were all a little scared to just come out and say what we were really feeling." Mallix said as he rubbed his chin gently against Faye's head. He longed to hold the girl so closely, and now he finally felt as if that were possible.

Letting all of their cries fill the room, the small happy family eventually found their tears slowing down as they had gripped hold of the situation at hand.

"We love you Faye. We just want you to know that. We're more than happy to know that you want this just as badly as we do." Mallix assured as he brushed her stray hairs behind her ears.

"Y-you love me?" Among all of the things Faye could imagine the couple saying to her at this very moment, both good and bad, she hadn't expected either of them to break out the four lettered heart stopper.

"Of course we do. I thought it was obvious by now." Lain smirked. "Ever since you got here we've wanted to make sure you felt at home. We knew this is what we wanted right from the very first moment we both met you. I told you that you were special Faye and I meant it. That heart of yours is something unlike anything I've ever felt before. And right from the moment I saw you scared and alone back at the Academy I knew you were the right one for us."
