AFTER LANE AND Sage got told that they would be good in the sales department for their future careers, they were both very depressed. Lane left to see Rory, but Sage stayed with Lola and the two ended up running into Jude."Lola! I have a football game today, you're coming." Jude said, planting a sloppy kiss on his girlfriend's lips. She cringed as his spit met her lips, and she sighed when what he said registered in her head.
"Oh, well – ." Lola started, about to say she couldn't make it.
"You haven't been to a game in awhile." Jude said, and it was true.
"I know, but – ." Lola sighed as she got interrupted again.
"You said you missed seeing them."
"I do, but I thought we were getting together tonight." Lola said, making up an excuse that wasn't entirely a lie.
"We are." Jude nodded.
"Well, then I should really get my philosophy homework out of the way."
"Do it at the game." Jude shrugged, not seeing an issue with that.
"My homework?" Lola raised a brow.
"Yeah." Jude smiled.
Lola was confused. "But if I'm doing my homework, doesn't that defeat the point of going to see you play?"
"You can't glance up in between nihilistic theories?"
"I can, but what's the point?" Lola shrugged.
"What?"
"Why don't I do my homework at home and I will go see you play next week."
"Well, I – ."
"I promise I'll be there."
"Okay, sure." Jude nodded.
"Great, so, tonight?" Lola grinned.
"Yeah, I'll be by at seven." Jude nodded.
"Okay. So, have a good game. Do that pointing to the outfield thing, that's always very popular." Lola laughed, leaning in for a kiss.
"I will." Jude smiled and kissed Lola. "Bye Sage."
"Come again soon." Sage waved.

LOLA HAD TOLD her mother that Jude was annoying her lately, being clingy and everything that usually pissed Lola off. Jude had called the James's home phone about 20 times when Lola didn't get home when he thought she would. So when Tania found Jude washing Lola's car as she got home from work, she sighed and walked over to him.
