WHEN RORY GILMORE brought Paris into Luka's Diner, one could say Lola was very surprised. Paris wasn't Rory's favorite person, so it was strange that the two were having a late lunch date.
"Hey Rory. Coffee?" Luke asked, approaching the two girls.
Rosy nodded. "Thanks Luke."
"Who's your friend?" Luke asked from behind the counter, nodding to the other private school girl.
"Angela Landsbury." Rory joked, and the blonde didn't seem amused.
"You're the owner here?" Paris asked, looking at Luke in a suspicious way.
"Yup. You want some coffee Angela?"
Paris shook her head. "No thanks. So, you run the diner, huh?"
"Oh boy."
"You get a lot of truckers through here?" Paris started, looking around the diner for truckers.
Luke looked confused. "Truckers?" He scoffed.
"Yeah. You know, guys on the road for weeks, lonely, looking for company, a little pick me up. Things like that." Paris nodded, still looking, and Lola couldn't help but laugh.
"What's she talking about?" Luke asked Rory.
The Gilmore girl just shrugged her shoulders. "Your guess is as good as mine."
"It's pretty common knowledge that diners are breeding grounds for prostitution and drug dealers."
Luke's jaw dropped. "What?"
"Have you ever seen anything like that going down here? What about that guy over there? What's his story?" Paris pointed to an old guy sitting in a corner. Paris was right, he could pass as a drug dealer.
"Reverend Nichols?"
"Reverend Nichols, huh? What is that, like Dr. Feelgood?" Just as Paris" said that Lola couldn't hold it in anymore. She cracked up at the idea, and Luke shot her a glare.
"Rory, how much do you like this person?" Luke fumed, desperate to get Paris out.
"Do what you gotta do, Luke." Rory shrugged as Jess came down the stairs and into the diner. Paris's head whipped around to Jess.
"Hey, where'd he come from? What's up there? Is that where you keep the girls? You got yourself a little cathouse up there?" Paris accused.
Jess held his hands up in mock surrender. "Wow, I think she got you Uncle Luke. You better give up now."
"Should I go and tell the ladies up there that we got busted?" Lola asked, turning to Jess who smirked and threw his arm around the James girl.
