No one has said anything the second Narcissa and Lucius entered the back garden. Half of them recoiled slightly and the other half stood frozen from fear. But then there was Hermione.

Happily going up to them, she hugs Narcissa first and then hesitantly hugs Lucius- who surprisingly enough accepts the girl with open arms.

Draco makes his way to his parents and does the same- even hugging his out of place father.

"I'm so happy you could make it!" Hermione happily states and the music and movement of the party begins again.

"Yes, well- we were invited. It would have been rude not to show up to our own Son and Daughter-in- law's party." Narcissa says slightly tense.

"Shall I introduce you to my family?" Hermione asks and they nod. Hermione wraps and arm around Lucius and it nearly kills Harry and the Weasley's by how openly accepting Hermione is to the man who on several occasions had tried to literally kill them. "Mum, Dad- this is Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. Narcissa and Lucius these are my parents- Paul and Lydia Granger."

"Nice to meet you both." Narcissa bravely extends her hand and as Paul takes it- she forces herself to stay put.

It burns her deeply.

Touching a Muggle's hand.

Shaking it as if they are equals.

As if.

Nicely shaking Lydia's hand, she forces a smile on her face as she does.

Lucius is also repulsed by the hand shaking, but remains polite in doing so.

"It's so nice to finally meet you both." Lydia says with a genuine smile. "Please help yourself to beverages and treats. Paul will be grilling soon."

"Thank you." Lucius says with little to no sarcasm in his voice.

"I'm so glad you've come." Hermione says and Narcissa smile warmly at her- having slowly grown fond of the disgusting creature.

"That's sweet. How have you been, Hermione?" She asks a bit softer than her normal voice because she doesn't want people to hear their conversation.

"I've been really good." Hermione smiles warmly. Draco and Lucius head off- Draco convincing his father to try the Muggle's beer.

"Have you and Draco...had any problems?"

"No. We've been perfect. I'm hopeful I'm thinking we're back to normal if not better than." Hermione says as she smiles in the direction of her handsome husband.

"Splendid. I was worried there might be a drastic shift."

She sort of hoped they would have split up, but knowing how much the Mudblood makes her son happy and how sweet she actually is- Narcissa is glad that they were able to work things out.

"I see you and Lucius have become...closer." Hermione observes and Narcissa rolls her eyes at the child, but can't hide the ever small grin rising to her cheeks.

"Yes...well...I think we both feel a bit lighter now that Anima Mea is at peace."

"Well I'm glad. I must say Narcissa, this Kelly green sweater on you looks very beautiful."

"Thank you...it's a bit too bright for my liking...but I think for the occasion it's suitable."

"Very suitable."

"Although Lucius looks...out of place in that god awful pink. I believe that pink polo is his new favorite shirt....O want to burn it." Narcissa sneers and Hermione giggles slightly.
